It’s been quite a while since the rumors began circling about a mobile port of Riot Games’ hit League of Legends. But nothing’s surfaced on that front — until tonight’s 10th-anniversary live stream, that is.

The company announced during the stream that it would release League of Legends: Wild Rift for mobile devices sometime in 2020. Not only that, but the game will also make its debut on unspecified consoles as well, which should open up a whole new audience for it.

Wild Rift’s debut trailer is below, giving players an idea of what to expect from the modified LoL experience. Players will be able to engage in “skillful outplays” and “brilliant maneuvers” while they “keep your win streak alive wherever you go.” Players can “jump into a match with your Wilf Rift party in seconds, even when you’re away from your PC.”

The official website for Wild Rift gives us a closer look at some of the characters in the game. It’s not a port of the classic game. Instead, the developer explains that “it is a new game built from scratch to ensure it is a polished, legitimate LoL experience that’s worth players’ time.”

Pre-registration is already underway on the website for the Google Play version of the game, though there’s no word when it will open up for other platforms. For the consoles it’s coming to, again, there’s no official announcement. But considering the popularity of Arena of Valor, the Nintendo Switch almost seems like a lock at this point.

Check out the trailer below and get ready to take on your friends. League of Legends is finally spreading its Wild wings.
