During an interview with Xbox Wire, Bioware’s Head of Technology Scott Neumann has revealed Anthem is running at native 4K HDR on Xbox One X.

Looks like the Canadian studio is taking full advantage of the power of the mid gen console, reaching the maximum resolution, and not only that.

“The Anthem team has been able to leverage the power of the Xbox One X to deliver enhanced graphics to our players,” Neumann said.

“The added GPU power of this console allows Anthem to render at native 4K and with HDR. To complement the increased image quality of 4K, we have also increased the resolution at which we render shadows in the game, and we have enhanced the rendering of in-game terrain.”

He also shared that “the added memory of the Xbox One X allows us to increase the number of meshes and textures we stream into the player’s view at any given moment.”

So, it’s clear that Anthem is going to have the best console version on Xbox One X, thanks to the added power and the relationship with Microsoft.

The game’s releasing on February 22, 2019 on PC and PS4 as well, and you can learn more about it by looking over here.
