Chad Robertson, head of live service at BioWare, has reassured fans that the Anthem open demo is coming problem-free this weekend.

The demo is releasing today for all the players willing to play the game and decide whether they should buy it.

The previous demo, called VIP, was reserved to pre-orders and EA/Origin Access subscribers, and had lots of issues.

“We’re hard at work to be ready for our public demo weekend, starting tomorrow, 2/1. This week has been focused on improving the player experience in the demo – that focus was based on our learnings and your feedback,” Robertson said.

“For those of you that played last weekend, you should see significant improvement in multiple areas over last week.”

“While we are confident that these changes will improve this weekend’s experience for players, we’re also cognizant that we may see recurring and new issues.

Our team will again be working around the clock to deal with any problems that arise so that all players can enjoy the game.”

That’s nice to hear, considering that – not counting the demo, which could still have some issues for what matters – the full Anthem experience is coming Feb. 15 for Origin Access Premier subscribers and February 22, 2019 for everyone.
