Luminous Productions Working On A PS5 Game

For a very short while, Tomohiro Tokoro, a 3D character modeler at Luminous Productions, has shared on LinkedIn that the studio is currently working on a PlayStation 5 game.
The CV has since been edited, but fans at ResetEra have been quick enough to grab a picture of the page before that.
So, this is apparently the reason why Square Enix, owner of the studio, has decided to cancel the majority of the Final Fantasy XV incoming DLC.
The team, which has been founded by Hajime Tabata (who’s recently left the company), is in charge of building a new AAA title.
From the looks of it, it’ll take so long before we get to see it that it’s even a next-generation production for PS5 (and we believe Xbox Scarlett, too).
On top of that, Tokoro also mentioned that there’s a smaller mobile title in the making at the developer, tailored for the Chinese market.
