It was rather disappointing that Rocksteady and the long-rumored Superman game weren’t at E3 2018, wasn’t it? Well, it looks like Rocksteady knows it, and this is the reason why studio head Sefton Hill offered a statement about the matter on Twitter.

Why Rocksteady Didn't Show Superman Game At E3 2018

“Hi all!, I wanted to share a quick message from me and the Rocksteady team…,” he said before posting a photo with a message written by him and offered on behalf of the Batman Arkham series’ team.

“We know some of you were disappointed that we were not at E3 this year. The whole team has been reading your comments, and all of us here at Rocksteady really appreciated your passion for our next project,” which still remains to be revealed.

“Knowing how much it means to you keeps us inspired and energised to deliver a game that you will be proud of. We’ll share it with you as soon as it’s ready.”

So, from the looks of it, the game is still in an early state or will be revealed very close to its release window. The rumor about Superman still seems pretty believable, although at a certain point it was reported it was going to be showcased at the Xbox E3 2018 media briefing, which didn’t happen at all.

So, shall we see it sooner rather than later, hopefully before the year ends? Who knows…
