We all are well aware of how the development cycle of Call of Duty video game series goes – on that note, it’s confirmed that this year’s Call of Duty game (2018) will be developed by Treyarch. Today, a credible insider source Marcus Sellars – the man who accurately leaked information about Dark Souls Remastered and Nintendo Labs, reveals that this year’s Call of Duty from Treyarch is going to be called Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Leaked

In addition to this, Marcus revealed that apart from releasing on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will also launch on Nintendo Switch. However, the Switch port will not be developed by Treyarch, instead, a studio familiar with Call of Duty games is going to take care of the Nintendo Switch version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 which will support DLC, HD Rumble, and motion controls.

Read below what exactly Marcus Sellars leaked about this year’s Call of Duty on Twitter. He stated:

“COD 2018 is Black Ops 4 and is coming to PS4/Xbox/PC/Switch. It is set in the modern times and is boots on the ground. The Switch version will support DLC, HD Rumble, and motion controls. The Switch version is also being ported by a company which is familiar with COD games.”

This is really an interesting rumor because the last three Call of Duty games from Treyarch has been a new iteration in Black Ops sub-series, I expect them to do something different this time around. Let’s see how things unfold officially. Neither Activision nor Treyarch have said anything officially about this year’s Call of Duty game, so take all leaked and rumors on the internet in this regard with a grain of salt.
