Final Fantasy XV PC Specs To Run At 720p, 1080p And 4K HDR

Square Enix announced PC specs needed to run Final Fantasy XV at 720p, 1080p and 4K with HDR. In addition to this, Square Enix also revealed release date.

Square Enix has finally revealed the release date of Final Fantasy 15’s PC version and also confirmed that there will be a Royal Edition of the PS4 and Xbox One.

Final Fantasy XV

The PC version was announced last year, without any further details about the release date. Now, it has been officially announced that the game will be released on March 6, worldwide and will come with all the DLC bundled with the base game.

Along with the release date, the specs required for the PC has also been released and the game seems to be pretty demanding and for good reasons as, PC version supports up to 8K native resolution, HDR 10 support, Dolby Atmos and Mod support.

There is three set of specs required for the game, for resolutions 720p, 1080p and 4K respectively, without any mention of FPS capping.

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 (3.4GHz or higher), AMD FX-8350 (4.0 GHz or higher)
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Free space: 155GB or higher
  • DirectX: 11

On Feb 1, Square Enix will be releasing a benchmarking software for PC, which will test your rig and will notify you whether your PC meets the minimum requirement basing up on the score.

On March 6th, the PC version will be released along with the Royal Edition for the consoles, and both the versions will include all the past DLC and season pass.

The Royal edition includes some extra perks. It will have a new dungeon, a first-person mode and extended Insomnia map having new quests and enemies. The owners of the standard edition can avail the Royal edition additions for $20.
