Where to find Uni in Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy

One of the very first resources you will need to track down in Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is a Uni. These strange, spikey fruits can be found lying on the ground under certain fruit trees.

If you make your way outside the Capital, to the Meeresbrise Highway, you will find that they are quite easy to get. If you are lucky, there will be a tree to your right directly beside where you spawn. Underneath the tree, you should be able to find some Uni.

After that, head around the central outcrop of rock on the map show above to find another batch of Uni lying on the ground under a similar tree. They are reasonably limited in this area, but you don’t need a lot of them to finish up this first quest.

Now is a good time to talk about collecting resources in general, however. Some resources can simply be picked up, while others need to be hit with your staff to break them first. You will occassional find resources that you cannot collect with your current staff, and you will need an upgraded version to collect them.

You can’t upgrade your staff, and instead you will need to find recipes, or unlock skills, that allow you to make new ones. This is done through the Alchemy system at the cauldron in your atelier, so don’t be too put out that there will be things you cannot collect in this area.
