Where to find the Haligtree Secret Medallion Left in Elden Ring

Halfway past the top of the world.

It takes both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion to reach the Haligtree area and face some of Elden Ring’s most extreme challenges. The area is accessible via the Grand Lift of Rold through a hidden menu option. The right half of the Medallion is in possession of an Alburnaric man named Albus in the Village of the Alburnarics, who hides inside a pot in a dark, northeastern corner of the area.

The Haligtree Secret Medallion Left is much harder to come by. It’s not even accessible until very late in the game, at the top of Castle Sol in the Mountaintops of the Giants. Players won’t be able to reach the Mountaintops until they’ve at least defeated Morgott, the Omen King in the Capital of Leyndell, but it’s not advisable to go to the Haligtree until much later.

Castle Sol lies at the northeastern portion of the Mountaintops, and the Medallion Left is in a treasure chest following a boss encounter with Commander Niall. Niall is one of the harder late-game fights, as he’ll summon two Banished Knights to assist him and has an arsenal of powerful attacks of his own. Unprepared Tarnished will find themselves one or two-shot by almost every attack both the boss and his helpers throw out. The reward is worth the trial, as defeating him opens the way to the chest to get the Haligtree Secret Medallion Left.
