When is the release date for Title Update 2 in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak?

Multiple free Title Updates will be available following the release of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and these will go out to the Nintendo Switch and PC versions simultaneously. These updates will be how the Monster Hunter team supports the game following the expansion’s official release, adding more challenges and quests to players who find themselves hitting the endgame. These free Title Updates will expand on the Anomaly Investigation quests and add additional monsters. Here’s what we know about the release date for Title Update 2 in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
What is the release date for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s Title Update 2?
We can now confirm the second title update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will occur on September 29. This was revealed during the Monster Hunter Rise panel during the Tokyo Game Show, which also debuted Violet Mizutsune and Risen Chameleos. These two, alongside Flaming Espinas, will be available when the update arrives. Violet Mizutsune and Flaming Espinas will be available at MR 10, while Risen Chamelos will be available to players who reach MR 110.

Not only will the free title update bring three more monsters, but it’s also releasing layered weapons. Similar to layered armor, layered weapons will allow you to change your weapon’s appearance without modifying the stats, match your armor, and create a finalized outfit. Along with this, more anomaly quests are on the way, allowing you to challenge some of the more dangerous monsters awaiting you in Sunbreak.
Similar to title update one, we’re curious to see if a fourth monster will be revealed for title update two. For now, we have plenty to look forward to when this free update arrives on September 29.
