When is Pokémon Home coming to Pokémon Go?

In February of 2020, Pokémon Home was initially announced, and players could transfer their Pokémon online to hold them in their Pokémon bank. The bank could contain a vast number of Pokémon from across varies main Pokémon games, and a player could choose to transfer those Pokémon to more modern releases, such as Pokémon Sword and Shield.
While Pokémon Home was initially announced in February, Nintendo also revealed the feature would not arrive to Pokémon Go for some time. However, Niantic has shared Pokémon Home will not be compatible with Pokémon Go until closer to the end of 2020, and it looks like we’ll be able to bring our favorite Pokémon on our Pokémon Go adventure pretty soon.
The first few traces of it have been pushed to Pokémon Go, and data miners have shared a few images of what we can expect to arrive in the game. However, these images do not have any code or data attached to them, so we’re not sure how they work.
The two big ones we see pictured above is the home transporter and the home transporter Poké Ball. The home transporter is likely the item players will be using to transfer their Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Home and bring them back to the mobile game.
The home transporter Poké Ball is interesting. We don’t know if that Poké Ball will be something you need to use to capture certain Pokémon in Pokémon Go to use with the home transporter. It might be a new item you acquire through spinning Poké Stop and Gym discs. The typical fear is Niantic will require players to purchase these Poké Balls using Pokécoins, the mobile game’s premium currency.
We’ll learn a bit more about these assets when they go live. However, because these assets were pushed with the Pokémon Home logo, it’s safe to assume we can expect to see more official information about transferring Pokémon between Go and Home sometime in November, and it might happen in December at the latest.
