With Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on the horizon, people have started to wonder about a release date for the upcoming installment in Activision’s hugely successful first-person shooter series.

A recent data mine of Warzone’s latest update has partially let the cat out of the bag, and it would seem that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be releasing on Friday, November 13. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, as just about every Call of Duty game ever has released in that particular month.

According to the data mine, Woods, Mason, and Hudson will all be returning to take on a shadowy threat and a new cast of characters. You will be fighting your way through East Berlin, Vietnam, and Turkey as you try to figure out what a mysterious figure named Perseus is doing.

We can expect the usual over the top action that makes the Call of Duty campaigns so much to play, as well as period-specific weaponry and equipment.

It is not known yet exactly how this new release will work, as Activision appears to be moving towards the idea of a central hub for Call of Duty content. The most likely result will be that Warzone will tie into both Cold War and Modern Warfare, and each game will have separate installations. Modern Warfare is already causing problems for players due to the insane install size hitting over 200 GB in size, so adding even more into it isn’t really an option.
