How to Complete The Flying Metal Nuisance in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Eve is a stubborn robot, and convincing her to trust you in The Flying Metal Nuisance Disney Dreamlight Valley quest is no easy task.

The Flying Metal Nuisance is Disney Dreamlight Valley’s first quest for the A Rift in Time expansion. This quest will have you stalking Eve, fishing for plastic, and waving a new tool around Eternity Isle.

I’m not sure what I expected from the A Rift in Time paid expansion, but that lineup of activities took me by surprise – and Jafar is making a villain out of me. In this guide, I’ll walk you through every step to complete The Flying Metal Nuisance in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Find Eve in DDV The Flying Metal Nuisance

Eve is to the left of the docks, over the bridge. As with many aspects of Disney Dreamlight Valley, Jafar is less than helpful when telling you to find the “metal nuisance” that has intercepted his plans. While we know Jafar is up to no good, we do want to check in on the adorable robot we evidentially left behind, and the new DDV map isn’t small.

Cross the bridge, and you will need to remove the rocks with your pickaxe. If you are following the quest, Jafar will have just awarded you the upgrade needed to break these rocks to start the Disney Dreamlight Valley The Flying Nuisance questline.

After this, you will find Eve standing surrounded by ore in front of the Royal Hourglass. She won’t give it up, however, forcing you back to Jafar for help.

Jafar will inform you that Eve is guarding the Hourglass at your comment – or your command from childhood. However, you are too aged and eroded for Eve to recognize you. Jafar instructs you to return to Eve’s home to look for clues to convince her you are safe to trust.

Eve’s house is located left of The Docks, just south of Eve’s position. Make your way back across the bridge, where you can enter the home without obstruction.

Inside, break down the plastic piles until you locate the image on the floor. This will depict Eve standing next to a table set with food. Beside the table, a robot costume has been abandoned by its wearer. With this clue, players will need to head back to Jafar.

How To Find Eve’s Hidden Location in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The hidden location Disney Dreamlight Valley players are looking for is hidden behind a waterfall before the bridge leading to Eve.

It is actually possible to enter this location before finding Eve, which I did by accident. If you enter before getting the photo of Eve’s memory, you won’t be able to interact with the chest in the corner. To get inside, destroy the rocks block your path, then head to the corner filled with personal items. Interact with the chest to receive the robot helmet and Robot top.

Despite your cute new outfit, Eve still isn’t convinced. To earn her trust, you must recreate the meal from the photo using the recipe she provides you. To do this, however, you will need to fix Goofy’s Stall on Eternity Isle to get the ingredients. Head back to Goofy to get his business up and running.

The broken sign for Goofy’s Stall can be found in the northeast region of Eternity Isle, lying atop some boxes inside a maroon gazebo.

What’s a biome without Goofy’s Stall? Practically useless, I’d say. To start Give Me a Sign, either speak with Goofy in Eternity Isle or look for his broken sign. Once you’ve found it, you’ll get the quest Give Me A Sign, which is the first step to repairing Goofy’s Stall in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Goofy really wasn’t kidding when he said this stall is a mess. To fix Goofy’s Stall in DDV, you’ll need the following items:

  • 12x Plastic Scrap: can be fished in the ocean or lakes, but aim for spots outside the bubbles.
  • 25x Copper: can be mined from regular, smaller brown rocks in Eternity Isle. You won’t be able to break the big ones yet.

Once you’ve gathered all the materials, head back to Goofy to get his stall up and running and proceed to the next step to complete The Flying Metal Nuisance in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

If we want Eve’s Royal Hourglass, we must prepare something nice for Eve. How about that Best Fish Forever Recipe? Here’s the recipe for Best Fish Forever in DDV:

  • Robot Fish: can be fished in the Docks in Eternity Isle, but only in spots marked with orange bubbles.
  • Cumin: can be harvested from the tiny garden next to your home in Eternity Isle.
  • Celery: the seeds can be bought from Goofy’s Stall in Eternity Isle. They take 10 minutes to grow.
  • Sea Snail: can be fished in the Docks and the Overlook in Eternity Isle, but only in spots marked with blue bubbles.

After following these steps, present your dish to Eve. You can complete The Flying Metal Nuisance in Disney Dreamlight Valley and get the Royal Hourglass, a brand-new tool in the game.
