The Division 2’s Warlords of New York expansion has arrived, bringing plenty of new adventure for all the eager Agents out there. Unfortunately, the expansion is currently dealing with some issues, such as people not being able to speak with the community leaders, and some other bugs. To properly resolve these issues, Ubisoft needs to roll out an unscheduled maintenance period to apply the relevant fixes. This means some server downtime while the update is rolled out.Â
The servers will shut down for unscheduled maintenance on Tuesday, Mar. 3rd at the below times:
- 09:30 AM CET
- 03:30 AM EST
- 00:30 AM PST
Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.
Unfortunately, while Ubisoft plans to roll out fixes for the below issues, they cannot guarantee that this will happen in the above time frames, as there is still some work to be done on these launch day problems.
- Fixing an issue that prevents the objective “Reach City Hall” of the WONY introduction mission from updating and teleporting players to a different location.
- Fixing an issue that causes players who quit the helicopter cinematic to get placed into and stuck in Trinity Church.
- Fixing an issue that prevents players from interacting with Community Leader NPCs.
- Further backend improvements to prevent ECHO errors to occur for players.
Community leader situation
According to Ubisoft, they have seen players report that re-logging or fast traveling from and to the Safe Houses can resolve the community leader issue. Still, this method has yet to resolve the issue for us. The issue appears to be caused by the NPC not working properly in a server instance. Players that can switch server instances by the methods mentioned before might be able to interact with the NPC.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue for you, all you can do is hold on until the maintenance period is completed, when Ubisoft will hopefully have resolved the problem.
