The best ways to earn XP in Watch Dogs: Legion Online

Make the most of your time online in London.

Watch Dogs: Legion Online awards XP for many activities, all of which goes toward increasing your rank in the game’s season pass. However, some activities are worth more XP than others. In this guide, we’ll show you the best ways to optimize how much progress you make through XP every time you load up the game.

Daily and weekly challenges

Each time you enter Watch Dogs: Legion Online, you should consider the daily and weekly challenges. This will allow you to tailor your time in the game to what will earn you a big chunk of XP, sometimes as much as 300 XP.

Obviously, daily challenges are worthless XP than weekly ones. If you’ve only got an hour or so to play, completing the daily challenges could be perfect.

Keep the weekly challenges in mind every time you play too. These can be worked on over a longer period of time, so there’s no need to focus on them in every session.

Solo activities

London is dotted with solo activities for you to complete at all times. These are great if all you want to do is play by yourself. They’re worth half as much XP as the multiplayer activities, but you should be able to get at least two finished in the same time that a co-op activity takes.

You can use solo activities as an excuse for roaming London in search of trucks to destroy or enemies to kill for the daily and weekly challenges too.

Spiderbot Arena

The Spiderbot Arena is a fantastic place to earn XP. Matches are short, and you’ll earn 40 XP for your efforts, providing you win. Unfortunately, you only earn half that for a loss. On the other hand, the matches are over so quickly that you’re bound to win at least one in the time it would take you to do anything else.

Parcel Fox deliveries

If you’re looking for something different, Parcel Fox deliveries award a small amount of XP each day. From what we’ve been able to track, you can earn XP from at least two deliveries per day, but the rate is only 12 XP. It’s worth doing at least one delivery for what is effectively free XP every time you play.

City events

City events pop up in Watch Dogs: Legion Online every 20 minutes or so. They’re tough activities, but they award a massive chunk of XP at 60 XP for completion. These activities require at least three players. We’ve tried to complete them solo a few times, and it’s impossible. As long as you’ve got a good group, completing these is a great way to farm XP.

Mission playlist

As with city events, you’ll get 60 XP for every co-op mission you complete from the playlist. The beauty of this playlist is that you’ll automatically start new missions as you finish others. You can sit in the playlist and continue to earn XP for as long as you want to play.

Tactical Op

Due to issues with the Tactical Op prior to launch, this activity won’t be available in-game until March 23. However, it seems likely that this activity will award the most XP because of the added teamwork required for completion.
