Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is back with its classic brawler gameplay and beat’em up schtick. Unfortunately, early adopters of the game have found various error codes when playing online with others. These error codes are shown by a message, and the code being denoted as RYAN followed by numbers. Here is what the 3002 error code means and how you can fix it.
If you get the Ryan 3002 code, your internet connection is not stable enough to support online play. The Scott Pilgrim game requires all player’s ping to be below 200 MS and running at 60 frames per second. If anyone playing is having issues, it will bring the whole lobby down. If you get this message, it is recommended you attempt to troubleshoot your online connection in the internet settings. Have all players try to test their connection and ensure they are running at the recommended settings for their set-up.
Note: as of this writing, the Scott Pilgrim game has seen various connection issues on all platforms since its release, so the game could have given this code instead of one of the other Ryan codes by mistake. If you have tested your connections and everything seems to be running fine, and it works well on other online games, you may need to give Ubisoft time to fix their servers, unfortunately.
