It’s almost time to blast off into Rocket Arena. EA’s 3-on-3 rocket-fuelled shooter is launching on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on July 14, so now is the best time to pre-order your copy if you want to play it on release day.
Before you go and slam down your cash for your copy, you’ll want to know what pre-order bonuses are available. Allow us to be of service and tell you what each edition gets you.
Rocket Arena standard edition
This edition is simple enough to follow. The standard edition, which costs $29.99 (£24.99), nets you a copy of the game and one pre-order bonus.
If you purchase the standard edition, you’ll get the Epic Roller Derby Rev outfit to customize, well, the Rocket Arena character called Rev. This skin is available no matter what platform you buy in the game on, so if you’re a PC, PS4, or Xbox One owner, don’t worry about missing out on it.
Rocket Arena Mythic edition
Unlike other games, Rocket Arena only has one other edition aside from its standard copy. The Mythic edition is available for $39.99 (£34.99), so what are you getting for an extra $10? Well, a fair bit, actually. The Mythic edition will get you:
- A copy of Rocket Arena
- Epic Roller Derby Rev outfit
- Mythic Guardian Phoenix Jayto outfit
- Epic Frost Princess Kayi skin
- Epic Cyber Sailor Blastbeard outfit
- Epic Stone Temple Izell skin
- Epic Pulsar Megablast rocket trail cosmetic
- Epic Fragment Return rocket trail cosmetic
- 1000 Rocket Fuel
Rocket Fuel is the premium in-game currency that allows you to buy the game’s Season Pass — known as the Blast Pass — and it separate to the normal in-game currency. Everything else in the Mythic edition is cosmetic, so you can dress up your characters in these skins if you want to show off to your friends and foes.
