Red Dead Redemption 2 Best And Rare Revolvers Unlock Guide
As you all know, Red Dead Redemption 2 features a total of 59 weapons (base game, and there is a possibility that Rockstar Games might add a few more weapons via DLC) and they are divided into different categories: Pistols, Revolvers, Melee, Shotguns, Rifles, and so on. We are starting a Red Dead Redemption 2 Best And Rare Weapons Guide series where we will be listing out two best weapons and a rare weapon in each category. We will be starting with the Revolver – below you will find the best and rare revolvers in Red Dead Redemption 2 and how to get them. So let’s get started.
Best Revolver And How To Get Them In Red Dead Redemption 2
Deciding the best revolver to use in Red Dead Redemption 2 is a tough task because each one of them has different stats like some have a better rate of fire, some have a good damage score, some has a great reload speed, while some have great accuracy. SO the revolver that caters to you need (i.e the stats type you look for the most) and the playstyle should obviously become your best revolver in Red Dead Redemption 2, but still here’s what we think should be your ideal revolver in Red Dead Redemption 2.
1: Schofield Revolver – Best Revolver In Red Dead Redemption 2
Customization is the biggest reason for listing Schofield Revolver as the best revolver in Red Dead Redemption 2. Players will have an option to improve the Schofield’s barrel rifling (it do come with an extended barrel).
How To Get Best Revolver Schofield In Red Dead Redemption 2
There are two ways to unlock Schofield in Red Dead Redemption 2. First, you can purchase it from the Gunsmith for $84 after Chapter 2 Mission Blessed Are The Meek.
The second method is to get Schofield is to rob the Valentine doctor’s practice. It will be in a weapon case which you can access in Valentine during the backroom-robbery of the drug store. Follow the steps provided below to rob the doctor’s shop successfully.
Firstly, you will have to get the ability to rob the Doctor’s shop in Valentine, and for this, you have to look through the back window. Once you have made your way inside the doctor’s shop, take control of the doctor and ask him to take you to the back room. In the back room, you have to kill everyone. There will be a box on the table, loot it and Schofield Revolver will be yours.
2: Double-Action | Best Revolver In Red Dead Redemption 2
Double-Action revolver comes with a high Rate of Fire (RoF) and Reload speed, but at a cost of damage and accuracy (these are slightly on the lower side) as compared to the other revolvers. However, you have the option to get things up by making modifications to the grip and the barrel. The interesting thing is that apart from Double-Action, Schofield and the Cattleman revolver, no other revolvers allows you to upgrade/modify the grip and the barrel.
