Dinosaur Bone is a special collectible in Red Dead Redemption 2. There is a side mission in the game called “A Test of Faith” which requires you to collect a total of 30 Dinosaur Bones. You can trigger this side mission at the start of Chapter 2, all you have to do is speak to a stranger excavating fossils just southeast of Horseshoe Overlook. “The paleontologist, Deborah MacGuiness, asks you to find 30 dinosaur bones throughout the country and to mail their coordinates to her from any post office. As you reach certain milestones in this activity Deborah will provide rewards. Check out the details of the rewards below.

When you complete the assignment (i.e. collected all Dinosaur Bone), she will send you a letter. Collect it at a post office and read it to obtain an invitation at her ranch at Firwood Rise in Cumberland Forest.
