Pokémon Eggs are an important step to completing the Pokédex in Pokémon Go.

The eggs are acquired by spinning PokéStops in locations around the world, receiving gifts from friends or completely Adventure Sync weekly goals. They can only be hatched after being incubated in one of two in-game items: Egg Incubator or Super Incubator. Trainers then need to walk a certain distance in the real world while the Pokémon Go application is open or with Adventure Sync turned on to hatch the egg and unlock the random Pokémon inside.

You can hold a maximum of nine Pokémon Eggs in your bag at one time, with each egg being split into four categories: 2km, 5km, 7km, and 10km. The longer the distance a trainer needs to walk, the rarer the Pokémon inside the egg.

Certain Pokémon, like Pichu and Togepi, can only be found in certain eggs, making hatching vital for completing the Pokédex. Sadly, however, there’s no way to guarantee yourself one of these Pokémon once you successfully hatch an egg, so be prepared to walk for a very long distance to get these sought-after Pokémon.

The Pokémon that can be hatched from eggs as of March 2020 are:
