Palia – Will Beta Save Progress Carry Over To Launch?

Is there a chance you could lose your home, crops and plushies when Palia finally releases?

Palia is an enchanting MMO that captured the hearts of 20,000 alpha testers in 2022 and 2023, and it seems to be gearing up for its full release. Players have been pouring hours into this vibrant world, tending to crops, exploring new territories, and crafting unique stories. As with most MMOs, making progress in Palia takes loads of time, and areas like your home are highly customizable. With all the time and effort spent crafting their own experiences, only natural players are curious whether Palia’s beta progress carries over to the game’s official launch.

The good news is that your dedication won’t go to waste. Singularity 6, the brilliant minds behind Palia, confirmed through Twitter that any progress made during the beta will carry over to the game’s official launch. That means all those crops you’ve cultivated, plushies you’ve collected, and adventures you’ve embarked upon will remain intact when Palia goes live.

As an MMO, Palia takes the hassle out of saving progress manually. There’s no need to worry about backing up your data or fumbling with save slots. Your progress is automatically logged into the system, so all you have to do is log in when the game is officially released. You’ll find your character just as you left them in the beta.

Is There an Official Release Date for Palia’s Final Version?

While the promise of carrying over progress is thrilling, the developers are still hard at work perfecting Palia. Currently, no official release date has been announced for the game’s full version. This means that there’s still plenty of content and surprises to come. Just this year, they have released a Closed Beta, an Open Beta, and more than three updates, with one more on the way.
