League of Legends: Wild Rift Yordle Expedition – Start date, champions, missions, rewards

Riot Games has introduced the League of Legends: Wild Rift‘s first major event in 2021 called the Yordle Expedition event. As the name suggests, it is going to bring five yordle champions including Corki, Kennen, Tristanna, Lulu, and the much-awaited Teemo that are sprouting like mischievous mushrooms across Runeterra. So, pack your bag, polish your boots, and prepare your map, to bring yordles from across Runeterra into Wild Rift. The event features rewards for players completing different missions that are explained below.

Yordle Progress Map
Yordle Expedition features a Yordle Map with different regions to track the progress of the event. A part of it was teased a few days ago on the social media handles and more regions will be unveiled as the event progresses. Each region will hold a unique surprise including a new yordle entering the fray and other rewards.
Daily Tasks
During the event, you will be given three daily tasks every day at 00:00 UTC that will be replaced with newer ones regardless of your current progress. These tasks will include simple objectives like getting 10 kills, cast your ultimate 15 times, and win 2 games and the rewards for completing each task will be 20 Steps and 90 Blue Motes.
Region Tasks
Each time you reach a new region, a special region task will get unlocked and you will get rewarded for completing it. You can only have up to 1 region task at a time and unlike daily tasks, region tasks remain on your list and continue to track progress between days.
Once a region task is completed, you’ll be given a new one the following day if your server has already progressed to the next region. Even if your server has already progressed to the next region, you’ll have to complete your current region task to unlock a new one the following day.

Step Rewards
With the number of steps completed, you will get the following rewards:
- 400 Steps: Emote
- 700 Steps: 600 Blue Motes
- 1000 Steps: 25 Poro Coins
- 1300 Steps: Bauble
- 1600 Steps: Yordle Expedition Champion Selection Chest
- 1850 Steps: Yordle Expedition Pose Selection Chest
- 2000 Steps: Icon Border
