Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally here, and players from across the globe have started to enjoy the final entry in Sora, Donald, and Goofy’s epic quest.
When players start the game, however, and enter the first world from the Hercules series “Olympus,” fans will be shocked to discover the title “Kingdom Hearts II.9” before they enter the world.
What is Kingdom Hearts 2.9/II.9?
The title has led to many fans speculating about what it could mean, what it could stand for, or even if the game is missing some content. But we’re here to let you know that there is nothing to worry about.
Kingdom Hearts II.9 is just the title of the first act of the game, and as soon as you complete the Olympus section and leave the world, Sora will receive new clothes (as is customary in the Kingdom Hearts series), and the official Kingdom Hearts III title will be shown, showcasing that this is the real beginning of his long-awaited journey.
The Kingdom Hearts series has done this in previous titles, such as in Kingdom Hearts 2, where the Roxas section finally ends, and Sora awakens.
