To gain access to this item, you will need to hit level eight in Phasmophobia. Naturally, you start off at level one, but you can quickly increase your rank by completing missions and successfully identifying what ghost you have been hunting.
Once you reach level eight, you can buy the head-mounted camera from the item list at your base of operations. You can access the list from the whiteboard with everyone’s details on. Click on the “Add” button, and scroll down until you see the head-mounted camera. You can buy it for $60, which adds one to your inventory.
You can add this item to your squad’s item pack ahead of your next mission. When your next map has loaded, you can find the camera hanging next to the truck keypad that opens the doors for you to leave. Simply interact with it to use it.
Head-mounted cameras can help you see Ghost Orbs, which you can view using night vision, and determine what ghost you are tracking. Players who remain on the truck, meanwhile, can track your movements throughout the map by switching to your camera view. This can help you find evidence that you might have missed, which also helps finding out which ghost you are hunting.
