How to unlock Mirror Mode in Sonic Origins

Change your view of the world.

Sonic Origins offers players yet another chance to play the first four titles that made a name for Sega’s blue hedgehog. If you want, you can play all of these games originally like they were made in the 90s, but you can also change up the experience in the Anniversary Mode with new features that make them more enjoyable and in line with current Sonic titles. A Mirror Mode will allow you to run through each stage from right to left rather than the traditional left to right. Here is how to the Mirror Mode in Sonic Origins.

How to unlock Mirror Mode in Sonic Origins

There are two ways to unlock Mirror Mode in Sonic Origins, and both are simple. First, if you have the Start Dash Pack, which is free for standard and digital deluxe pre-orders, you get access to all Mirror Modes for each game right away. If you didn’t pre-order the game, you would have to purchase the pack to get this and the Letterbox Background, and 100 bonus Coins.

If you do not want to pay for the mode, you can unlock it in-game for free; it will take a little time. All you have to do is complete each game on Anniversary Mode. It doesn’t matter what character you play or how often you die or restart. Once you hit the credits, that game will have Mirror Mode unlocked.

Mirror Mode is a simple perspective change for players. All it does is flip the screen while you play, so you are moving towards the goal on the left instead of the right. As of this writing, we have not found any new content or secrets hidden away in this mode, so it just seems like a way to easily change things up.
