Downhill Jam in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 features plenty of water, holes, ramps, and drops that could potentially fall into. A lot is happening in this sloped course, but it’s plenty of fun for those who can figure out how to navigate the pipes and chain grinds and manuals together for a high score. One of the park goals for the course is to the Madonna move over the Water Hazard Gap. It’s pretty straightforward, but you need to make sure you do it in the correct location.

The particular Huge Water Hazard Gap you want to find is right at the beginning of the course. Two pipes are overlooking it. Because of how quickly the gap appears, you might miss it. It’s also difficult to successfully perform the Madonna move to make sure you land it correctly.

Before attempting the Madonna, make sure you know how to land it. When your skater in the air, you can do it by hit to the upper right, plus the action button. You can find it underneath the Grab Trick list.

The best way to land it over the gap is to first grind on the pipe, jump, perform the move in the air, and when it finishes, grind at the end of the rail to land it. You want to start at the beginning of the pipe and go over the end gap, or it won’t count. It may take you a few times. If you miss, you can make it to the end, and go around to try performing it again.
