Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is keeping with the tradition of giving players more cosmetics than just what is in the Battle Pass. This includes Geralt of Rivia, the lead protagonist of The Witcher series. Those who obtain the skin can even nab his very own dedicated Back Bling, Pickaxe, and Emotes. However, you won’t discover the character for sale in the Item Shop. Here’s how to get the Geralt of Rivia skin in Fortnite.
How to unlock The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia in Fortnite
The Geralt of Rivia skin is a limited-time offering for Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass owners, and it can only be unlocked by completing Page 1 of the skin’s dedicated challenges. You can find these challenges directly underneath the Battle Pass tab and are even able to preview the rewards you will earn from finishing each. This includes the character’s own Weapons of The Witcher Back Bling, Igni Sign Emote, and Witcher’s Steel Sword Harvesting Tool.
Keep in mind, the opportunity to own Geralt won’t last forever, as the challenges are scheduled to expire on March 10 (the start date of the next season). So, to help you get started, you can find all of Geralt of Rivia’s unlock quests below as well as links to guides that should help complete the harder tasks.

- Defeat a boss (0/1)
- Complete bounties (0/3)
- Emote in The Citadel throne room (0/1)
- Deal melee damage to opponents (0/500)

Although achieving 500 melee damage will not be an easy feat, we highly recommend you use the Shockwave Hammer. Not only does the item deal 100 damage per strike but it can even be pounded on the ground for you to leap great distances. Additionally, if you have trouble seeking out enemies, the Falcon Scout device‘s scanning ability will highlight opponents nearby for a short period of time.
