To promote version 2.0 of its game launching client GOG Galaxy, CD Projekt has a new, short-term freebie for fans its biggest game (so far, at least). As long as you already own a copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on (almost) any other platform, simply link that account to GOG Galaxy, and you’ll get a PC, DRM-free copy of Geralt’s latest adventure for free — no coin-tossing required.

To get started, you first need to download the GOG Galaxy game launcher, which you can obtain from the digital storefront website.  After you download GOG Galaxy, simply link the account on which you already The Witcher 3. The offer is valid for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, Origin, and Epic Game Store codes. Unfortunately, those who have the Nintendo Switch version will not be able to use this offer.

You can only receive one copy of the game, even if you have purchased it across multiple platforms. You can only receive a GOG copy of the version you already own, meaning that you will only receive the base game if you only have the base game. Those who have the Game of the Year Edition will receive that version.

The offer to grab The Witcher 3 for free only lasts until June 23 at 7am ET, so if you’re interested, make like Geralt and pirouette over to GOG as soon as you can.
