How to get perks in Call of Duty: Warzone
Perks are extremely useful in the battle royale map.

Perks are a critical mechanic in Call of Duty. They diversify players in multiplayer matches, giving them distinct advantages in the game against other players. You can have several attached to your character, making them fast runners, better shooters, or even quicker with reloading weapons. You can choose these perks to personalize your playstyle. Can you take these perks with you into the battle royale game, Warzone, and if so, how do you get them?
All players start with nothing but a pistol when they drop into the game. You can be playing by yourself with a three-person squad. From there, you need to explore the map to find caches to equip yourself with new weapons, armor, grenades, and specialized equipment to give you and your teammates an advantage against the 150 or so other players attempting to be the last ones standing. Along the way, you’re also trying to pick up the cash you can use in the game’s store to purchase exclusive upgrades.
One of these upgrades allows you to summon a dropbox where you can pick from one of your 10 custom loadouts. The loadout box costs $6,000 at the buy station. This way, rather than relying on the random weapons and equipment you find from the map, you now have access to the equipment from that loadout. You receive all of the perks from that loadout as well, giving you another advantage against other players. However, when you spawn the loadout crate, everyone on the map can see its location. You’re essentially placing a large target on your back, letting everyone know your position, and they can freely use it to grab a loadout from their custom list, too.
There’s a tradeoff to receiving the perks in the game, but if your team can gear up in their best loadouts and have perks attached to their characters, it’s well worth the exchange.
