For example, just to upgrade weapons or ascend characters, you will be expected to find and collect all manner of different items. One such resource is Crystal Marrow, which is a material that you will want to find for purposes of quests and character growth. So, if you’re wondering about Crystal Marrow, then read on. Where to find Crystal Marrow in Genshin Impact
Unlike some resources, Crystal Marrow is not too difficult to find or to farm. Crystal Marrow is considered a Local Speciality of Inazuma, which means that it can be found on Yashori Island and Kannazuka Island. To collect it, simply harvest it directly. It does not need to be broken beforehand, unlike most other types of ore in Genshin Impact. Outside of those two locations, there is no other way to find Crystal Marrow.
Crystal Marrow on Yashori Island
On Yashori Island, the easiest way to farm Crystal Marrow is to simply follow the length of Orobashi’s bones. Starting from the tail in the north, make your way along the skeleton, picking up the resource all the way to the head. By then, you can start all over again to get even more Marrow. It is a pretty simple and straightforward way of getting a lot of Crystal Marrow.
Crystal Marrow on Kannazuka Island
On Kannazuka Island, you can find clusters of Crystal Marrow directly to the west of Tatarasuna. More precisely, it is west of Mikage Furnace, lower at sea level, instead of up on the cliffs. Unlike on Yashori Island, the resource here is grouped in clumps, so there is no obvious farming route that you can take other than a simple circle along the shore.
What is Crystal Marrow used for in Genshin Impact
Crystal Marrow is a resource that is mainly used to ascend characters. It is not used to craft weapons or in any recipes, and no weapons can use it to ascend. Therefore, all Crystal Marrow that you collect would have to go toward ascending two Genshin Impact characters — Aloy and Sayu.
