How to get access to the Helminth System in Warframe

You gotta put in the work.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

If you were hoping you could dive straight into Warframe and start playing around with the Helminth System, then you will need to do a bit of groundwork first. The Helminth system allows you to sacrifice a Warframe, drawing an ability out of it, and infusing it in another Warframe of your choice.

How to get access to the Helminth System

Helminth Segment

To get access to the Helminth System you will need to get all the way to Rank 3 with the Entrati Syndicate. You will need to play through the Heart of Deimos campaign, then start gaining rank with the Entrati Syndicate. To do this, you will need to earn standing. We have a guide covering how to do this, but it is quite a process, so don’t expect to get access to the Helminth system too quickly.

You need to earn Tokens for Standing, and Tokens to rank up, with each Rank requiring a sacrifice of specific Tokens and resources to be able to move on to the next.

Son Location

You can then visit Son, the Entrati in charge of conservation and get the Helminth Segment Blueprint from him. It will cost you 15000 Standing, and you will need to be mastery Rank 8 before you can use it.

You will also need the following resources to build it:

  • 50000 Credits
  • 5 Purple Velocipod Tags
  • 20 Adramal Allow
  • 5 Saturated Muscle Mass
  • 15 Ganglion

Only then will you be able to install the Helminth Segment in your Orbiter, and get access to the ability to change your Warframes’ powers.
