The map in Genshin Impact is pretty large, so being able to rapidly zip around it thanks to fast travel is a blessing. The good news is that there are also plenty of fast travel points for you to discover, allowing you to set up a large network of teleportation points.

The first thing to keep in mind is that you should always be on the lookout for waypoints that will allow you to fast travel when you explore the world. The map is covered with them, and the more of them that you find the more efficient your time in-game will be.

To activate the fast travel points you will need to interact with them once, which will earn you some XP as well as setting up the new waypoint. You can also fast travel to other landmarks, such as the Statues of the Seven.

Genshin Impact Fast Travel

To fast travel, open your map and click on any of the fast travel points that you have already discovered. This will bring up some information about the area and also a prompt to fast travel there. Hit the prompt button in the bottom right of the screen and you will be whisked away to your new location.

And that’s it. Fast travel in Genshin Impact is not a complicated system, but it is quite useful. As always, just make sure you are constantly on the lookout for new fast travel points, as some of them can be hidden in odd places, such as at the top of ruins, or giant pillars.
