How to change to Japanese voices in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

Prefer the Japanese dub?

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has finally been localized for English-speaking players. For a long time, the games included were only accessible to the Japanese market, leaving Ace Attorney fans hoping to get their chance to play. Now that that is possible, you can access both The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve. If you want to get as close to the original versions of the game as possible, you can change the spoken voices to be dubbed in their original Japanese.

To change voices in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles to Japanese, all you need to do is pull up the Options on the main menu and go to Language. There will be an option that is defaulted to English that you can switch to Japanese. This will not change the dialogue boxes you will be reading throughout the games, and anything spoken in Japanese will have subtitles.

Honestly, this does not have a significant effect on the games. Most of the game’s dialogue will not be spoken outside of the introductory animations for each episode. If you are a person that prefers the original Japanese dubs in media, this option was made available specifically for you.
