How to find out if you have gotten a Twitch drop for VALORANT’s closed beta

The Valorant closed beta begins today, and various streams and internet personalities will be streaming the game on Twitch. You can’t get keys for the beta, so keep that in mind if you see anyone offering you a key, because it’s bogus. Instead, you need to connect your Twitch account to your Riot account, then watch people stream the game to be in with a chance of getting a key.
Here’s how to get access to the closed beta.
- Create a Riot account here.
- Link your Riot account to your Twitch account here.
- Watch specific VALORANT Twitch streamers after the beta activates in your region. This will give all viewers a chance to land a beta key simply by tuning in.
How to know if you have won a code
If you are one of the lucky ones to get a code, you will get a notification on Twitch. This will appear in the top menu, beside your username. There will be another notification at the top of the chat, so you should have no issue spotting it.
If you were away from your computer, but left the stream, and want to check to see if you got one while you were away, you can check your Twitch Inventory. Click on your portrait/avatar in the top right of the screen, then choose the Inventory option. It should be the sixth option down. You will only have a limited time to claim the invite, and we have no idea how Riot will be dealing with people who fail to do so, so play it safe if you want to get in the game and check your Twitch account often throughout the day.
