Here is every weapon being sunset in Destiny 2 at the end of the Season of the Hunt

Time to say goodbye.

Season of the Hunt, Destiny 2’s currently active season, is due to finish up in early February. It should be drawing to a close on February 9, making way to the new, as yet unannounced, season.

This means that more weapons are going to be sunset. For those not in the know, sunsetting is the process of leaving some weapons behind. They may still be available in the game through assorted means, but they will have a Power cap that is well below the seasonal power cap, making them largely useless.

You can find a full list of all 21 weapons that will be sunset below, so prepare to say goodbye to any personal favorites that appear on the list.

When sunsetting was originally introduced, it was touted as a way to remove power creep and weapons that caused balancing issues. The current issue is that nothing on this list could be considered to be particularly overpowered. It is just the further removal of content from the game, and it is unlikely that the new content will fully replace what has been lost.

Sunsetting has been a contentious issue for many Guardians, and we don’t think that is going to change as we move into the next season.
