The German forward is off to a barn-burning start.

Thanks to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the last FIFA 23 Player of the Month (POTM) content drop for the Bundesliga prior to February came on December 8. We finally got a new one on February 16, as EA Sports released the Bundesliga POTM award for January. It’s a familiar face, as Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt won the award. Thus, a new 88 OVR RM card of Brandt is now available for a limited time. How can you add Brandt to your squad? Let’s take a look.

POTM Brandt possesses 4-star Skill Moves and Weak Foot ratings

This SBC will require just one lineup. The requirements for this lineup, set to the 4-4-2 formation, must meet the following requirements:

  • Starting players – 11
  • TOTW players – Min. 1
  • Bundesliga players – Min. 1
  • Team Overall Rating – Min. 83

Solutions

This SBC will cost around 30,000 Coins as of this writing. Brandt doesn’t possess great Pace but does own very good Dribbling, Shooting, and Passing stats. If you don’t like the idea of a slower midfielder on the outside, Brandt does have secondary position eligibility at CF and CAM.

Here’s a look at a potential solution:

  • CB Sebastian Coates (82 OVR)
  • CB Willi Orban (82 OVR)
  • CB Jose Maria Gimenez (83 OVR)
  • CM Koke (83 OVR)
  • CM Thomas Lemar (83 OVR)
  • RW Marco Asensio (83 OVR)
  • GK Gregor Kobel (83 OVR)
  • GK Oliver Baumann (83 OVR)
  • CDM Fernando Reges (83 OVR)
  • GK Lucas Hradecky (83 OVR)
  • TOTW ST Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba (83 OVR)

Card information via FUTBIN. This Squad Building Challenge will expire on March 16.
