Everything you need to know about Fortnite Crew

A new subscription service.

Epic Games are introducing a new subscription service to Fortnite, the flagship battle royale that has caused something of a cultural upheaval in gaming over the last few years. Fortnite Crew will include your battle pass, lots of V-Bucks, and a skin pack each month, making it a high-value offer for the fashion conscious out there.

Fortnite Crew will cost $11.99 a month and will be a recurring subscription. You will also get 1000 V-Bucks each season to spend in the items shop.

When does the Fortnite Crew service begin?

Fortnite Crew will begin on December 2, the new start date for Chapter 2 Season 5.

What does it include?

Fortnite Crew will cover your seasonal Battle Pass, guaranteeing access to 100 level of Battle Pass rewards that you will be able to earn by playing the game, and completing challenges. You will also get 1000 V-Bucks every month, and a monthly Crew Pack that will contain an exclusive skin and at least one accessory. For example, the December 2020 Crew Pack will include the Galazia skin from the header image, along with the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe, and the Fracture World Back Bling.

Is the Fortnite Crew Service cross-platform?

No. Your Subscription is associated with the platform on which you purchased it (your “Primary Platform”) until it is cancelled and is not transferable. You’ll be able to access the items you receive from the Subscription across different platforms, but the V-Bucks you receive may not be redeemable on other platforms. You must log into your primary platform each monthly subscription period to access your subscription content.

How to get the Fortnite Crew Subscription

You can purchase the Fortnite Crew subscription directly from the Item Shop or Battle Pass purchase screen, starting on December 2.

How to cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription

You can also cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription at any time. Go directly in-game and check out the Fortnite Crew tab to guide you based on your active game device.

What if I am not interested in the service?

Everything else will be staying the same. You will still be able to get your Battle Pass with V-Bucks as you do now, and you will be able to buy items in the Item Shop the same as always.
