A comprehensive guide to all the keys currently available in Tarkov.

There a lot of keys in the city of Tarkov. Some locations like the Woods only have three keys, while others like the Shoreline have as many as 46. The keys are needed to access quest areas and some of the best areas to loot in the game. Collecting all of the keys to get the best loot available is a daunting task. Luckily the spawn locations for the majority of the keys available in the game have been found, making it a little bit easier to track down the exact key you need. This guide will list the most common locations to find keys in Tarkov.

Note that, unless otherwise stated, almost every key in the game can be found in jackets, drawers, in the pockets and bags of Scav NPCs, in Shturman’s stash on Woods, or in the marked circles found on some maps that can spawn almost any item in the game. Most keys can also be found on the flea market, but some of the more useful or more popular ones can be insanely expensive. There are a few exceptions to this where keys can only be found in very specific locations, on specific Scav bosses, or as quest rewards.

The keys in this guide will be organized by which map they are used on, starting with the maps with the fewest keys needed. If you need to find a particular key and happen to know the name of it or the location, you can use Ctrl+F to search through the page.

Factory

Factory only has three keys, and two of these keys open the same door. The most useful of the three is the Factory Exit Key.

Factory Exit Key – This key can only be used 50 times. It opens two more extraction points in Factory and an optional room that can be used in the “Bad rep evidence” quest. It can also open the doors to the guard building near the new gas station in the crane yard and the doors of the fuel tankers on Interchange.

This key can spawn in several locations on Customs. In the three-story dorms inside the guard office on the ground floor, it can be found on a table next to the broken TV. In a blue locker in a building on the southeastern side of Customs just south of the smokestacks. The building is near the lootable blue van. Finally, it can also be found on the ground next to a concrete ring just west of the old gas station in the southeastern end of the map. This key can also be obtained as a reward for the “Spa Tour – Part 7” quest for Peacekeeper. You can also trade a used version of this key along with an MRE and four Iskra lunch boxes to Jaeger at Level 2 for a brand new one.

Pump Station Door Key – This key is called the “Door Key” in-game but is more commonly called the Pump Station Key by players. This key opens the pump station in the northern section of Factory near the boilers. This room is an optional location for the “Sanitary Standards – Part 1” quest for Therapist. It is an excellent place to farm bleach.

The key can spawn on a bench in the locker room on the second floor of the offices. The bench is in a small area between the locker room and the adjoining bathroom.

Door Key (alternative) – This key is the same as the key above in function but opens a different door just on the other side of the small pump station. This key does not have a known in-game spawn point aside from jackets and the pockets and bags of Scavs.

Woods

Woods, like Factory, only has three keys.

Yotota Car Key – This is a folding key for a white Yotota pickup truck found in the lumber yard. The truck will have its hood up and is located next to the three cabins on the southwest side of the lumber yard. The loot in this truck isn’t that great, so getting this key shouldn’t be a huge priority. This key does not spawn in-game. It is only found in jackets and on Scavs.

Key ZB-014 – This key opens bunker ZB-014 near the wall just north of the eastern gate. This bunker can act as an extraction point and has some good loot in it that should be picked up. It can be used for the “Trust regain: and “Ice cream cones” quests.

This key is found in dorm room 220 in the three-story dorms on Customs. You will need the key to room 220 to get in.

Shturman Key – This key can only be used once, and is obtained by killing the Scav boss Shturman on Woods. It cannot be found in jackets or on Scavs.

The key unlocks a common fund stash used by Shturman. The stash is a box on a tire near a pile of wood across from the red warehouse in the lumber yard. You need to find one during a raid for the quest “Huntsman path – Woods keeper” given by Jaeger. You cannot complete the quest by simply buying the key off the market.

Labs

Labs has 10 keys to track down scattered all over the map. The keys that give access to some of the best loot usually have to be found on other maps in the game.

TerraGroup Labs access keycard – This keycard is probably the most important of all the lab keys. This key is required to access the map from the raid selection menu. This keycard can only be used once before another has to be found or purchased. In team play, every member of a squad needs to have this key to be able to enter the labs. You also need to gather three of these during a raid for the “Fishing place” questline given by Jaeger.

This key can be found in Shturman’s stash and in the drawers on Shoreline and in The Lab itself. You can trade for the key with Mechanic at level three for six tubes of Poxeram Cold Welding and level four for two Physical Bitcoins. Therapist sells the key at Level four for 157,500 roubles. It is also a possible loot item from every boss. It is possible to farm the key using scav bosses, particularly Shturman, as both the Scav boss and his nearby stash can spawn this item. If you are going to farm the key from Shturman, it is recommended to bring a small team to make it easier. Check our Woods guide for more information on the boss and his stash.

Black keycard – This key unlocks the door to the G12 experimentation area on the first floor of the Lab.

All of the possible spawn locations for this key are in the Lab. It can be found in the G22 laboratory block on the south end of the second floor sitting next to a computer. You will need the green keycard to enter the area. There are also two spawn locations in the large O11 room in the central area of the first floor. It can spawn on the large table of lab gear and on a computer desk across from the toxic waste spill covered by the orange dome.

Green Keycard – This keycard unlocks the G22 laboratory block on the south end of the second level.

The keycard can spawn on a shelf between two binders in the back hallway leading to the R23 arsenal on the north end of the second level. It can also spawn on the reception desk of the manager’s office in O21 on the second level, and a desk next to the quarantine zone G11 on the first level.

Blue Keycard – This key unlocks the door to the quarantine zone G11 on the first floor.

This key spawns on Reserve and Shoreline. On Shoreline, it can spawn in the West Wing in offices 104 and 112. It is located on a desk in 104 and on a low shelf next to a TV in 112. It can occasionally spawn in the passenger door of the ambulance in front of the resort on Shoreline. On Reserve, this key is dropped by the Scav boss Gluhar on his death.

Red Keycard – This is one of the most sought after keys for the Lab because it unlocks the laboratory security arsenal in section R23 on the second level. The arsenal has a lot of loot, including weapons, ammo, and weapon mods.

The Red Keycard is primarily found on Shoreline. It can be found in the East Wing of the resort in room 221 on a table with a laptop. In the West Wing, it is found in rooms 218, 203, and the basement. In the basement, the key can spawn in a gym locker that is missing the door. It is found on top of a water barrel in room 218 and on the floor in front of the nightstand near the balcony in room 203.

Violet Keycard – This keycard unlocks the security post in R23 on the north side of the second level. This room can have weapons and weapon mods, as well as COFDMs and VPX storage modules.

All of the spawn points for this key are on Woods in the lumber camp and the Scav checkpoint. The keycard can spawn in the trunk of the black SUV parked near the blue warehouse in the camp and on a table in the brick house just north of the camp. At the Scav checkpoint, the keycard can spawn inside the driver’s side door of the black SUV.

Yellow Keycard – This key is used to make extracting through the parking garage a bit easier. It unlocks the room needed to disable the parking garage alarm system.

This key primarily spawns in the Lab in R24, O21, and O11. In R24 in the cafeteria on the second level, the key spawns on the center window table. In O21, on the second level, the key spawns on the table in the front area of the manager’s office overlooking the lab floor O11. Finally, it is also found in the central O11 section of the first level on one of the worktables.

Arsenal Storage Room Key – This key unlocks the storage room door inside the R23 arsenal. This room can have some rare item spawns and weapon mods.

The spawn locations for this key are on Customs in the three-story dorms, the new gas station, and the electrical substation. At the substation on the northeastern side of the map, the key can spawn on a chair in the shack. In the three-story dorms, it is found on a nightstand in room 215. Finally, it can spawn on the counter behind the cash registers in the new gas station.

Manager Office Key the Lk.MO key unlocks the doors leading to the manager’s office in O21 overlooking the O11 central lab area.

The spawn locations for this key are all in the Lab in O13, O22, and the Y11 parking garage. In O13, the keycard is on a lit-up desk near the glass doors. In O22, the keycard is by the laptop in the conference room. Finally, in the parking garage, the key can be found on the passenger seat of an SUV with a weapon box in the back.

Weapon Testing Area Key – The Lk.TA(w) key or Lab. Key. Testing area (wrap.) unlocks the door to the weapon testing area in the central lab area of the first level. This area has a couple of weapon boxes, and possible weapon spawns.

The key can spawn in the Lab in the R15 gym, the entrance to R23, and room B21 above the server room.

The R15 gym is on the east side of the first level. The key can spawn on a stool in the gym. In R23, the key can spawn on the bottom of the shelves to the left of the entrance. Finally, the key can also spawn on the kitchen counter in B21 on the south end of the second level.

Key card with a blue marking – This is a single-use key that can only be found on the Scav boss Sanitar after he is beaten on Shoreline. We have a separate guide on how to find and defeat Sanitar if you need help. This key unlocks his stash on the second level of the Labs.

The stash can be found in the hallway on the opposite end of the floor from the recreation area R21. The stash itself is a closet near the sterile laboratory in block G22 across from the server room in B21. You can find the door in the hallway between the lab and the server room next to a big “Terragroup Labs” sign. Use the card on the keypad next to the door to gain access.

The stash contains a variety of medical supplies including medkits and stims. This is a very good place to farm the new stims added with the 12.7 update. Some of the medical items in this stash can be used in Colleague quests and

Interchange

Interchange has 12 keys and two keycards. Many of these keys require the power to be turned on from the power station on the northeast side of the map. If you have a key that isn’t working or you aren’t sure it will work, head over to the station and flip the switch to be safe. Be careful, though, as the power station, particularly the area around the power switch, is a popular spot for campers.

Key to OLI administrator office – This key unlocks the administrator’s office across from the restrooms in OLI, the office mainly contains some loose loot and a PC.

The key can be found on Shoreline on a desk in room 322 of the East Wing.

Key to OLI logistics department office This key unlocks the logistics department in OLI. Like the administrator’s office, there is mainly just loose loot and a PC.

This key is found on Customs in the trunk of a blue car on the road between the factory area and the new gas station.

Key to utility room of OLI outlet This has only been found in Jackets and on Scavs so far. The key unlocks a utility room with some loose loot.

Key to utility room of power substation This key unlocks a shack outside of the mall on the northeastern side of the map near the power station. It can be found in a blue locker in the forklift room in the northeasternmost section of Factory.

Key to pharmacy This key opens the pharmacy in the northwest area of IDEA. The pharmacy has some loose medical loot, saline, and hydrogen peroxide.

This key is found in room 101 in the West Wing of the resort on Shoreline. It will be sitting on the desk near the window.

Key to KIBA store outlet This is one of two keys needed to access the KIBA store. This store is one of the best loot spots on the map for weapons, weapon mods, and armor. The power must be restored to the mall from the power station to be able to use this key.

The key can be found inside the admin room of the power station on top of a box on the shelves. It can also be found on a book behind one of the tents at the campsite set up in Goshan. This key can also be received from Therapist at level 4 in return for 60 condensed milk and 10 packs of oat flakes.

Key to KIBA Outlet grate door- This key unlocks the grate behind the door opened with the key above. The power must be turned on from the power station to be able to use this key. The KIBA store is filled with weapons, armor, and weapon mods, making this a precious item to get hold of.

This key cannot be obtained from jackets or scavs. It can only be received as a reward for the “Gunsmith – Part 11” quest received from Mechanic. You must be level 20 to start this quest. To complete the quest, you will need to modify an AS VAL according to Mechanic’s specifications.

Key to EMERCOM medical unit This key is needed for the “Vitamins” questline given by Skier. It unlocks the EMERCOM unit in the ULTRA mall in the central area between IDEA and the escalators.

The key can be found on Customs near the gas station. There is an ambulance with the back doors sitting open near a truck. The key is in the back of the ambulance on a seat.

Key to OLI cash register- This key unlocks the cash registers in OLI, which are a great source for roubles. This key can be found on a table in an office in the back of OLI.

Key to IDEA cash register- This key unlocks the registers in IDEA. It can be found on one of the seats of the white bus parked outside of IDEA on the north side of the ULTRA mall.

Key to Goshan cash register This key opens the registers in Goshan. It can be found in the seat of a white bus on Customs. The bus is part of the roadblock near the new gas station.

ULTRA medical storage key This key opens the medical storage area of the mall. Like the KIBA keys, this key requires the power to be turned on to be used. This key can only be found in Jackets.

Object 21WS keycard This key unlocks a container in the parking lot across from the mall. It is a red container sitting on top of a bunch of other containers with a crane nearby. The power will need to be restored to use this key.

This key is found on Scavs, in Jackets, and occasionally on this maps Scav boss, Killa.

Object 11SR keycard This keycard unlocks Killa’s secret stash in a container in the parking garage beneath the mall. The power needs to be turned on before the stash can be accessed. This key cannot be found in Jackets or on Scavs. This key can only be looted from this map’s Scav boss, Killa. You are more than welcome to try asking him nicely for the keycard, but his answer will be coming at muzzle velocity.

Reserve

Reserve has 29 keys. A few of these keys do not have a function yet but should be usable in future updates. Several of these keys have no spawn points outside of the Jackets and being found on Scav NPCs.

RB-BK – This key unlocks the military base on Reserve. It can only be found in Jackets and the on Scavs. This location has rare loose loot, and a few weapons spawn.

RB-VO – This key is only found in Jackets and on Scavs. It unlocks a room in the barracks in the northwest corner of the Reserve. This barracks is the location of this maps marked circle spawn, which can spawn just about any item in the game, including some of the rarer keys in Tarkov.

RB-AO – This key unlocks another door in the same barracks as the RB-VO key in the northwest area of the map. This room has several weapon racks that can spawn a variety of Russian weapons and some loose loot, primarily weapon mods.

This key can be found on Shoreline in the bunker to the north of the resort. The key will spawn on a bed.

RB-OB – This key can only be found in Jackets and on Scavs. It unlocks a room on the third floor of the east barracks on Reserve.

RB-TB – This key unlocks a grated door in the basement of the black pawn building. This room has three weapon racks and some loose weapon mods and ammo.

The key can be found on Reserve in a sleeping bag on the lower roof of the train station.

RB-AK – This key unlocks a room on the second floor of the Black Bishop apartment building adjacent to the Black Pawn and across from White Pawn near the grounded helicopter. The room is on the west side just off a staircase.

The key can be found on a filing cabinet in the guard shack on the path to the weather station. It can also be received from Therapist at level 3 in return for six purified water and five water filters.

RB-AM – This key opens a door in the Black Bishop apartment building adjacent to the grounded helicopter. The room is on the west side of the first floor.

The key can be found in Reserve’s underground area, which is largely unexplored at this time.

RB-OP – This key opens a door in the basement of the Airspace Control Center or King building.

It can be found on a shelf in one of the cabinets in the Generic storefront on Interchange.

RB-MP11 – This key does not currently unlock anything. This may change in later updates. The key can be found in Shturman’s crate as well as the usual Jackets and Scavs. It can also be found on Customs in the Shipping yard. In the container building, it will be on a desk with a bunch of papers.

RB-MP12 – This key doesn’t currently unlock anything, but this may change in a future update. This key can spawn in the warehouse on the southeastern side of the lumbermill on Woods. It can spawn in a blue locker next to some boxes.

RB-MP13 – This key unlocks a door in the White Knight western repair building on the west end of the map. It can only be found in Jackets and on Scavs.

RB-MP21 – This key unlocks a door on the Black Knight western repair building. It can be found on Interchange in a drawer inside the power station bathroom.

RB-MP22 – This key does not have any known spawn points aside from Jackets and Scavs. It unlocks a room on the second floor of the White Knight western repair point building.

RB-PSP1 – This key has no known spawn point in-game aside from Jackets and Scavs. This key unlocks the caged-off storage area in the underground storage bunkers on the northwestern area of the map against the northern border.

RB-PS81 – This key unlocks another storage area in the underground bunkers on the northwestern area of the map. This caged-off area is in the southeastern area of these bunkers.

RB-PP – This key does not have any known spawn locations outside of Jackets and Scavs. This key’s use has yet to be discovered or has not been added to the game yet.

RB-ORB1 – This key opens a door on the fourth floor of the White Pawn southern barracks. The room has three weapon racks that can spawn a variety of AK series weapons and loose ammo and weapon mods.

This key has spawn points on Reserve, Interchange, and Shoreline. On Reserve, it is in the tunnels in a shower room in a key box on the wall next to the door.

On Shoreline, it is at the bottom of the silo for the radar station. On Interchange, it is on the shelf of a small desk in the corner of the Adik storefront.

RB-ORB2 – This key opens a door on the second floor of the east end of the White Pawn southern barracks building.

This key can be found on Woods and Reserve. On Reserve, it can spawn in a locker in the northern barracks near the radar station tunnel. On Woods, it is found on a table by a tank near the RUAF roadblock.

RB-ORB3 – This key unlocks a room on the north end of the Black Pawn barracks on the second floor.

This key can be found on Customs and Interchange. On Customs, it is on the front passenger seat of the Humvee closest to the main bridge. On Interchange, this key is dropped by Killa.

RB-KORL – This key unlocks a door on the second floor of the radar station. It is the first door on the left when you are walking down the second-floor hallway. This key can only be found in Jackets and on Scavs.

RB-KPRL – This key can only be found in Jackets and Scavs. It unlocks the southernmost building on Reserve near the radio tower.

RB-GN – This key can only be found in Jackets and on Scavs. This key unlocks an area on the basement level of the White King airspace control center.

RB-SMP – This key is found in Jackets, Scavs, and Shturman’s stash. It opens a room on the second floor of the White Bishop building south of the airspace control center.

RB-KSM – This key is only found in Jackets and on Scavs. It opens an area on the second floor of White Bishop south of the airspace control center.

RB-PS82 – This key can only be found in Jackets, on Scavs, and in Shturmans stash. It opens the northeastern caged off storage area in the underground bunkers. There are doors on either end of the caged room.

RB-PSP2 – This key is only found in Jackets and on Scavs. It opens the southwestern caged storage area in the underground bunkers.

RB-ST – This key is only found in Jackets and on Scavs. It opens areas in the warehouse of the repair point building on the southwest end of the map.

RB-RS – This key is found in Jackets, on Scavs, and in Shturman’s stash. It unlocks the last door at the end of the hallway on the second floor of the radar station on the southern point of the map.

RB-RH – This key is found on Jackets and on Scavs only. It unlocks an area on the third floor of the White King airspace control center.

Customs

Customs has 31 keys. Most of the keys unlock rooms in the Dorms on the northern end of the map. There are also several keys needed for quests. Most of the dorm keys only lead to some loose loot though a few rooms can have safes and the occasional weapon box.

Factory exit key – This is the exact same key used on Factory. On this map, it is used to unlock the doors to the guard building in the crane yard.

This key can only be used 50 times before needing to be replaced. It can be earned from the “Spa Tour – Part 7” quest given by Peacekeeper. You can also trade a worn factory exit key with an MRE and four Iskra lunch boxes to Jaeger at level 2 for a brand new key.

This key can be found on Customs on a table in the guard office on the ground floor of the three-story dorms. You will need another key to open the office. It can also be found on the ground near a concrete ring to the west of the old gas station. The key can also spawn in a blue locker in the building just south of the smokestacks on the eastern end of the map near the blue lootable van.

Dorm guard desk key – This key unlocks the guard desk on the ground floor of the three-story dorms. This room has some decent loot but the most important piece of loot is the all-important factory exit key which can spawn on the table by the busted TV.

This key is found on a dead scav in the showers on the ground floor of the two-story dorms.

Room 104 – This key unlocks room 104 in the two-story dorms. It can be found in a key box in the dorm guard office on the ground floor of the three-story dorms. You will need the dorm guard desk key to get in.

Room 105 – This key unlocks room 105 in the two-story dorms. It can only be found on Scavs, and in Jackets and Drawers.

Room 110 – This key unlocks dorm 110 in the two-story dorms. It can be found in a locker in a warehouse on the eastern end of the map near the boilers just south of the main road.

Room 114 – This key unlocks room 114 in the two-story dorms. This room needs to be entered for the “Pharmacist” quest given by Therapist. It can be found at the checkpoint in a blue jacket in the trunk of a blue sedan.

Room 206 – This key unlocks room 206 in the two-story dorms. it can only be found in Jackets and on Scavs. This room doesn’t actually have any loot in it but does need to be entered for the “Operation Aquarius – Part 1” quest given by Therapist.

Room 103 – This opens room 103 in the three-story dorms. This key is found in Jackets and on Scavs.

Room 108 – This key opens room 108 in the three-story dorms. It is found in Jackets and on Scavs.

Room 118 – This key opens room 118 in the three-story dorm building. It can only be found on Scavs and in Jackets.

Room 203 – This key opens room 203 in the three-story dorms. There is very little loot in this room but it is a mandatory location for the “Shaking up teller” quest given by Prapor. The key can be found in a red mug in dorm room 214 down the hall. You will need the key for room 214 to get in.

Room 204 – This key opens room 204 in the three-story dorms. It is only found in Jackets, Drawers, and on Scavs.

Room 214 – This opens room 214 in the three-story dorms. This room is very useful for the “Shaking up teller” quest given by Prapor. The key required to complete the quest is found in a red mug in this room. The room 214 key can be found between a couple of pallets in storage unit 88 on the western side of the map.

Room 218 – This key opens room 218 in the three-story dorms. The key can be found in Jackets, Drawers, and on Scavs.

Room 220 – This key opens room 220 in the three-story dorms. This key is needed for the “Chemical” questline given by Skier. It can be found under some blue clothes in an open train car on the southeastern part of the map, southwest of the smokestacks.

Room 303 – This key opens room 303 in the three-story dorms. It can be found in Jackets and on Scav. This key is needed for the “Golden swag” quest given by Skier and the “Trust regain” quest given by Therapist.

If you are working on either of these quests and are having trouble finding the key your best bet may be to buy it off the flea market or to check and see if Fence has it.

Room 306 – This key opens room 306 in the three-story dorms. The key can be found in Jackets and on Scavs.

Room 308 – This key opens room 308 in the three-story dorms. It can be found on Scavs and in Jackets and Drawers.

Room 315 – This key opens room 315 in the three-story dorms. It can be found in Jackets, Drawers, and on Scavs that made the mistake of looking at you funny.

Marked key – This key is very valuable. It opens room 314 in the three-story dorms. Room 314 or the marked room contains a marked circle that can spawn almost any item in the game. The room is hard to miss. It is at the end of the hall and the walls around the door are covered in white marking similar to the circle with candles on the floor surrounding the door.

This key is only found on Scavs and in Jackets. This key can only be used 25 times. It is needed for the “The Cult – Part 2” quest given by Peacekeeper. It can also be traded to Ragman at level 4 along with an Office 112 West Wing key and seven paracords to get the Crash Axe.

Machinery key – This key unlocks the driver’s side door of the orange tanker near the construction site. It is needed for the “Checking” quest given by Prapor.

This key can be found in a brown jacket in room 205 in the three-story dorms. This location will have no loot unless the “Checking” quest is active. If the quest is active there will be a bronze pocket watch on a chain on the floor.

Car key – This key doesn’t currently have a use. It used to open the trunk of a car in the parking lot of the dorms, but this car is now unlocked by default. There is a grenade box in the trunk that can be looted and is very useful for dealing with Reshala and his groupies.

Military base checkpoint key – This key unlocks the tower door at the military checkpoint. This key needs to be found for the “Trust regain” quest given by Therapist. The area it unlocks has a grenade box, a weapon rack, and a pair of ammo boxes. It can be traded to Skier at level 4 along with two phased array elements, two Prokill chains, and two COFDMs for the M-2 Tactical Sword.

You can get it from Jaeger at level 2 for two technical documents, three cans of beef stew, and five bottles of Tarkovskaya vodka. The key can also be found next to a dead scav on a couch in the boiler building on the east side of the map.

Customs office key – This key opens the Tarcone director’s office in Big Red. This key is needed for the “Delivery from the past” quest given by Prapor and the “Farming – Part 3” quest given by Mechanic. This office is on the second floor of Big Red and has a variety of good loot including a safe, PC blocks, and possible spawns for and MBSS Backpack and PACA Soft Armor.

This key is mainly found in Drawers, Jackets, and on Scavs. You can also trade four gold neck chains to Therapist at level 2 for the key. Big Red can be pretty heavily camped so be careful.

Portable Cabin key – This key unlocks the door to the portable cabin in the bus terminal. It can only be found on Scavs and in Jackets. This location only has some loose loot.

Portable Factory zone cabin key – This key opens another portable cabin next to the construction site across from the bus depot. The cabin is stacked on top of another one. The cabin can have a weapon box inside.

The key is found in the Factory, but the Factory exit key is needed to get to it. It is on the floor of the locked room next to the office.

Trailer park cabin key – This key unlocks a trailer home in the parking lot on the west side of the river. It is needed for the quest “Golden swag” given by skier. Luckily it is also part of the initial equipment given for the quest. If you don’t get it from the quest it is found on Scav NPCs and in Jackets. There is only a Jacket in this location so it isn’t really worth looting outside of the quest.

Cabinet key – This key unlocks the manager’s office in the gas station. There is a safe, a pistol, and some ammo and money inside the office. The key can be found on Scavs and in Jackets and Drawers.

Gas station storage key – This key unlocks the storage closet in the gas station. One of these keys also needs to be found for the “Trust regain” quest given by Therapist. This key is found under the desk in the manager’s office in the gas station. You will need the Cabinet key above to get to it.

Unknown key – This key opens a cabin in the shipping yard on the eastern side of the map between warehouse 4 and the southern storage building on the way to the old gas station. It is needed for the “The Extortionist” quest given by Skier. There is nothing in the cabin unless the quest is active making this key useless otherwise.

The key can be found on a body hidden in the bushes outside the wall by Warehouse 17 near the Welcome to Tarkov truck and the RUAF roadblock.

USEC stash key – This key opens two different doors in the repair shop. The first door is under a staircase to the right if you enter from the main entrance by the street. The second door is around the corner from the first. Both of these rooms have some decent loot with two weapon boxes and a Jacket in the first room and a weapon box, a weapon crate, and some loose loot in the second room.

This key can only be found in Jackets and on Scavs.

Shoreline

Of all the maps in the game, Shoreline has the most keys. This map has 41 keys meant to be used on this map. Predictably, the majority of these keys are for the resort in the northern central area of the map. For organizational purposes, all of the non-resort-room keys will be at the top of the list, the most important/most useful resort room keys will be next, and the remaining keys will finish the list starting with the West Wing keys.

Weather station safe key – This key currently has no use. It used to unlock the safe on the second floor of the weather station but it is currently unlocked by default. The key is found in Jackets and on Scavs.

Key to the closed premises of the sanitorium – This key is actually a quest item and is not used otherwise. The key is needed for the “Spa Tour – Part 5” quest given by Peacekeeper. The key can be found on a chair in the bunker near the Rock Passage extract. It will only appear if the quest is active.

Health resort warehouse safe key – This key opens a safe on the second floor of the admin building in the north wing of the resort. It is only in Jackets and on Scav NPCs after some aggressive negotiation.

Key to store safe – If the name is any indication this key should unlock a safe in the store in Shoreline. However, what specific safe this key is supposed to open is currently unknown. The key can only be found in Jackets and on Scavs.

Gas station safe key – This key currently has no use as the safe in the gas station is unlocked by default. The key can be found in Jackets and on Scavs.

Cottage back entrance key – This key opens the back door of a cottage in one of the villas. The cottage can have some good loot including a gun cabinet, two safes, and a PC block.

The key can be found on top of a pallet of water barrels in the backyard of the other cottage on Shoreline.

Cottage safe key – This key unlocks a safe on the second floor of the locked villa. The key can be found on a seat on the bus next to the tank at the village.

SMW car key – This key unlocks the trunk of the blue car at the open villa. The key is found on a box next to a dumpster by the construction site near the locked villa.

Health resort utility room key – This key unlocks the utility rooms in the health resort. There are three of these rooms but they don’t have a lot of loot. One is in the west wing on the second floor next to room 227. The other two utility rooms are in the east wing next to rooms 327 and 328. The utility room by room 328 has a table that can spawn rare loot. It also has an open balcony that can grant you access to room 328 itself.

This key is needed for the “Wet Job – Part 5” quest given by Peacekeeper if you don’t have an East wing room 328 key.

This key is found underneath the key box in the janitor’s closet by the glass east wing admin staircase on the second floor of the resort.

Health resort management safe key – This key unlocks a safe in one of the offices of the administration building in the north wing. This key can only be found in Jackets and on any Scavs you recently decided should stop breathing.

Health resort room 321 safe key – This key, as the name implies, unlocks the safe in room 321 on the West wing. It can be found in a locker in the weather station tower.

Office 104 West wing key – This key unlocks room 104 in the West wing. This office is a possible spawn point for the blue keycard used on the Lab map. The key can be found in a blue locker inside the small building by the power plant. It can also be found in one of the houses in the village. The key will spawn in a shoebox on the bed frame inside the house.

Office 112 West wing key – This key unlocks room 112 in the West wing. This office is a possible spawn location for the blue lab keycard. After completing the “Scavenger” quest you can trade this key along with a marked key and seven paracords to Ragman at level 4 to get the Crash Axe.

The key can be found on a seat on a yellow bus at the bus depot. The bus is sitting just inside a parking gate near some barrels and a blue sedan.

Office 107 East wing key – This key unlocks room 107 in the East wing. This room has lots of meds in it. The key can be found on the second floor of the admin building on a chair on the first row in the band room.

Office 108 East wing key – This key currently doesn’t do anything. Normally it would probably open room 108 on the East wing. The door is currently unlocked by default.

Key to HEP station storage – This key opens the storage room on the second floor of the Hydroelectric power plant. This room has a few weapon boxes and some weapon mods making this key pretty valuable.

The key can be found in Jackets and on any Scavs whose living privileges you have revoked. It can also be earned as a reward for the “Nostalgia” quest given by Jaeger.

West wing room 203 – This key unlocks room 203 in the West wing. The room is a possible spawn point for the red lab keycard. The balcony of this room is connected to room 205 next door. There are spawn points for an assault rifle, loose medical and money loot, a weapon box, a medcase, and a SMU06 medbag.

The key can be found in the house closest to the bus stop in the village. From the front door, it is on a chair between a window and some coat hooks. Be careful because there is a player spawn on the other side of the fence that can be seen from the window.

West wing room 218 – This key unlocks room 218 in the West wing. The room is a possible spawn point for the red lab keycard. There are also two weapon cabinets, loose money, food and ammo, and a weapon spawn that can have a VSS Vintorez or an RSASS.

This room can be used to access rooms 222 and 221 through the connected balconies.

This key can be found in a locker in a bathroom on the second floor of the admin building. The bathroom is adjacent to a rec room with a billiard table.

West wing room 219 – Surprise, surprise, this key unlocks room 219 in the West wing. This key can be used in the “Spa Tour – Part 4” quest given by Peacekeeper if you don’t have a West wing room 220 key. This room has a weapon cabinet, a weapon box, an armor vest spawn, and some loose ammo, meds, and money.

This key can be found on top of a busted wooden box on the second floor of the lighthouse.

West wing room 220 – This key unlocks room 220 in the West wing. This key can be used in the “Spa Tour – Part 4” quest given by Peacekeeper if you don’t have the key for room 219. This room has three weapon boxes and rare loose loot like gold chains and bitcoins.

The key can be found in a key box on a wall in the back of the unlocked villa.

West wing room 306 – This key is needed for the “Health Care Privacy – Part 2” quest given by Therapist. The room has a weapons spawn for an M4A1, loose money and meds, and two dead scavs that can have good loot on them.

The key can be found on Factory in a locker in the bathroom on the second floor of the offices. It can also be earned as a reward for the “Private clinic” quest given by Therapist.

West wing room 205 – This room is connected to room 203 through the balcony. The key Is found in the reception building at the marina. It is on the ground near a couple of filing cabinets.

West wing room 207 – This key has no use right now. The room is currently unlocked by default. The key is found in Jackets and on any Scavs that got in the way of your ammo.

West wing 216 – This room has two weapon boxes, a grenade box, and an M4A1 spawn. The key can be found on top of a desk on the second floor of the theatre building.

West wing room 221 – This key can be found on a deck-chair on the beach between the lighthouse and the gas station. The room has a big weapon crate, loose money, and loose medical supplies, and a weapon spawn for either and M1A or an M4A1. This room can also be used to access rooms 218 and 222 via the balcony.

West wing room 222 – This key is only found in Jackets and on Scavs. The room can be used to access rooms 221 and 218 through the balcony. There is an SMU06 medbag spawn, loose money, and a weapon spawn for either an AKM, Vepr KM, or SV-98.

West wing room 301 – This room gives you access to room 304 through the balcony. Rooms 301 and 304 have a weapon box, and SV-98 spawn, two LEDX spawns, and two PCs.

The key can be found On a seat on the yellow bus by the collapsed tunnel.

West wing room 303 – This room is currently unlocked by default making this key useless. The key can be found on top of some cardboard boxes in the northeastern pavilion.

West wing room 309 – This key is no longer usable as room 309 is currently unlocked by default.

West wing room 323 – This key is not currently usable. Room 323 is currently open by default.

West wing room 325 – This key isn’t usable. The room is currently unlocked by default.

Key with tape – This key is found on the body of Sanitar, the boss for Shoreline. It unlocks east wing room 110 and is needed for the quest “The Chemistry Closet” given by Mechanic. The room contains loose loot and medical supplies, a sports bag, a PC, and a LEDX spawn.

East wing room 205 – This room grants access to room 206 via the balcony. The key is found on top of a cardboard box in the fenced-off concrete platform above the stream to the north of the resort.

East wing room 206 – This room grants access to room 205 via the balcony. There are three weapon boxes, rare loose loot, an AKM spawn, and an AKS-74UB spawn in this room.

This key is found in the back of a black SUV between the gas station and the marina.

East wing room 209 – This key is not usable as the room is currently open by default. This room has a rare loot spawn and can access room 213 via the balcony.

East wing room 213 – this key is not usable as the room is currently open by default. This room contains two weapon boxes and can be used to access room 209 via the balcony.

East wing room 216 – This key is not usable as the room is currently open by default. This room is empty. The key can be found in a suitcase by the half-sunken car on the shore of the lake on Woods.

East wing room 222 – This key can be found on a chair on the first floor of the power station. The room has a weapon box, a weapon rack, a grenade box, a rare item spawn, and three weapon spawns for an RSASS, an SV-98, and an MP5. This room give access to room 226 via the balcony.

East wing room 226 – This room can give you access to room 222 via the balcony. There is one weapon box, a gun locker on the balcony, a LEDX spawn, and an MP-153 spawn. The key can be found in a key box in a utility room near the main stairs.

East wing room 306 – This key is needed for the “Cargo X – Part 1” quest given by Peacekeeper and the “Lend lease – Part 1” quest given by Skier if you do not have the key to room 308. This room can give you access to room 308 via the balcony. The room can spawn a LEDX, a DVL-10, four PC blocks, a weapon box, a rare spawn, a backpack, and some loose cash.

The key is found in the Tarcone director’s office on Customs. It is on the desk in the breachable room. Check the area around before you breach the room or you might alert other players nearby.

East wing room 308 – This key is needed for the “Cargo X – Part 1” quest given by Peacekeeper and the “Lend lease – Part 1” quest given by Skier if you do not have the key to room 306. This room can give you access to room 306 via the balcony. This room has one weapon rack, a weapon spawn, a medcase, and some loose food and money.

The key can be found on Woods. The key is in cabin one on a nightstand between the two beds. This is the cabin closest to the Yotota truck.

East wing room 310 – This key can be found on Customs on a seat inside the white bus in the trailer park. It can also be found in the front seat of the blue van near the crossroads extraction point.

East wing room 313 – This key can be found in Jackets and on any Scavs that have recently been used for target practice. The room gives access to room 314 via the balcony. There is a LEDX spawn, a SMU06 medbag, and a weapon spawn along with some loose meds, money, and weapon mods.

East wing room 314 – This key is found on Woods at the Scav checkpoint on the eastern end of the map. It is on a wooden stool in the cabin. This room gives you access to room 313 via the balcony. It has a weapon box, one weapon spawn, and some loose meds, cash, and weapon mods.

East wing room 316 – This room has two weapon boxes, a weapon mod spawn, a SV-98 spawn, and a medbag. The key can be found on Woods on the western side of the lake in an open suitcase behind the crashed minivan.

East wing room 322 – This room is currently open by default making this key unusable. This room is empty.

East wing room 328 – This key is needed for the “Wet Job – Part 5” quest given by Peacekeeper if you don’t have a Health resort utility room key. The key can be found on Scav island on a table next to an outboard motor. This room has a PC block, a weapon spawn, a LEDX spawn, and some loose cash and weapon mods.

N/A

These two keys have no real use yet but can be found in-game. The locations these keys unlock may be added in later updates to the game.

Weapon safe key – This key is found on lower shelves in Oli near the back of the store near the offices. Presumably, this key will open a weapon safe.

VAZ key – This key is found in Jackets. VAZ is an auto manufacturer in the Tarkov game world so it is possible this may unlock one of their vehicles or a related building to be added in a coming update.
