Does Goose Goose Duck have crossplay? Answered

Gather your flock.

Crossplay functionality is quickly becoming the standard for any online multiplayer game. If your game is on multiple platforms, you will want to play with your friends who are on other platforms than you. It should be as easy as finding normal matches to partake in on the game. Goose Goose Duck is a game currently available on PC and mobile phones. Can you play it with people across these platforms?

Is Goose Goose Duck cross-platform?

Goose Goose Duck does have full crossplay functionality between its PC and mobile versions. There is no setting that you need to turn on to enable it; it is just always active, meaning you can not turn it off as well. With that in mind, if you want to play with a friend, have them pull out their phone and input the code for your lobby, and they can join you. As an added bonus, voice chat should be implemented as well.

Goose Goose Duck has not gotten the same kind of publicity as Among Us since 2020, but the game developers deserve some credit for how seamlessly they have worked various features into it. Crossplay and the expanded roles have been featured in the game for a very long time, making this much more than a carbon copy of Among Us.

As far as we have seen, there haven’t been any rumblings about the game coming to other platforms, although the game is growing steadily enough for there to be potential to come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox, speaking speculatively, of course. When and if that happens, we imagine the situation would remain similar to how it is now with crossplay being available, although we would imagine there being some options available for people who don’t like to partake in crossplay for whatever reason.
