Dead by Daylight Tome 17: Commitment opens the seventeenth Rift for players to hop into and enjoy. It’s packed with challenges to complete, new cosmetic items to unlock, and a slew of lore about a particular set of characters to uncover.
Tome 17: Commitment focuses on The Oni and Feng Min, offering some new insight into their relationship and how The Observer sees everything playing out around the Entity. This pair hasn’t been explored in too much detail to date, so this Rift is a great chance to dive in and understand them better.

Dead by Daylight Tome 17: Commitment Start & End Dates
Dead by Daylight Tome 17: Commitment starts at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET/4 PM BST on October 11, 2023. The tome will last for 84 days, which should see it ending on January 3, 2024. The time the Tome ends on that final day will be the same as its starting time, so players should have more than enough space to get through every challenge.

Best Items From the Dead by Daylight Tome 17: Commitment Rift Pass
At the time of writing, the Rift Pass for Dead by Daylight Tome 17: Commitment is unavailable. However, as soon as it goes live, we’ll trawl through every cosmetic in there and show off the ones we think are the best and worth grinding for this season.
If players are on the fence about investing in the Rift Pass, it’s worth noting that the rewards for the 80 or so levels it has end up giving players back all the Auric Cells they spend paying for the pass. This means that players can spend $10/£10 now and earn that money back in in-game cash, allowing them to purchase the next Rift Pass at no extra charge.
2023 has been a great year for Rift Passes because Behaviour Interactive has started adding new items to the end of the traditional passes. These are Deep Rift items and are some of the greatest cosmetics in Dead by Daylight. Players must work hard to unlock them, but they’re a worthy reward for hardcore players’ effort.
