Control – How To Get To The Black Rock Processing Plant

To get to the Black Rock Processing area in Control, you need to build yourself a bridge. First, head for maintenance, and then follow the signs to the Black Rock Processing area. Clear out the enemies in the security room. If you continue to follow the signs, you will come to a giant abyss. To your left and right are giant stone bridges. You need one to get across, but you can’t reach them. In this guide, we detail how to build a bridge and get over the abyss.

Head back to the control room, and look for the door to the Turbine Room.

Go inside, and you will find two spinning turbines, with a gold block plugged into the wall, and another empty socket. Move the golden block from the socket to the empty one to stop the turbines. Now, look behind you, and you will see more golden blocks. Grab one of them with telekinesis, and then jump across the turbines. You can hurl the block across if it makes things easier for you.

After you cross over the turbines, head upstairs while bringing the golden block with you. When you get there, place it in one of the two slots in front of you, then grab the one out of the wall and put it in the other empty slot to shut down the turbines.

Jump across the turbines, and you will find a light switch on the platform. Once again, the rule of three applies, so pull it three times to get sent to the Oceanview Motel.

In the Motel, hit the reception bell three times to open up the first two doors on the left. The trick here is to make the second room look like the first room. There are four items you can move to the second room, and you need to place them in the following positions.

• The chair should be pulled out from the desk
• As you face the window, the radio should be on the right side of the window
• The picture on the wall should get straightened
• As you face the drawers, the potted plant should be on the left side of the drawers

Once they are all done, you will hear a noise, and the third room opens, so head in there and grab the key. Head back to the other end of the corridor to the room with the black pyramid on the door and open it. Go inside to pull the light switch three times, and you will be back on the platform overlooking the abyss, but this time the bridge you need will exist.

To quickly get back, turn around and take the tunnel that leads left, then drop down into the security room and follow the signs to the Black Rock Processing area.
