Follow this guide and you’ll soon be stealth killing your annoying Cousin Kevin til your heart’s content.
Let’s face it, no-body plays Call Of Duty for the story. Now don’t get me wrong here, every single version of CoD: Modern Warfare has had a pretty decent tale to tell, but as they usually clock in at around eight hours, GTA V this ain’t. These are nothing more than glorified tutorials to allow new players to get to grips with the mechanics of the game and to let those grizzled veterans of the series get the rust out of their systems.
The real money maker here and the reason that so many people play these kinds of games is the online aspect. Call Of Duty has proven itself, over the years, to be one of the most popular of the FPS genre and gamers all over the globe can’t wait to get into the multiplayer maps and start killing every single stranger they come across, but there is something even more fulfilling then quick scoping some poor schmuck from Arkansas across a vast distance, and that’s doing the same thing to your friends and family members.
If you want to spend some time showing Dave from Accounting that you’re the real boss, or maybe you just fancy stealth killing your annoying Cousin Kevin, you’re going to need to know how to get the people you love/hate/share a work cubicle with into the same game as you and that’s where this little guide will come in handy.
How To Add Friends In Multiplayer
When you head into multiplayer, look for the social menu, which should be located in the top right of your TV/monitor. Open it, and you’ll find yourself in your friends’ list, and from here, you need to select the people you want to play hide the bullet with. After you’ve decided who you want to spend a few hours killing the bejesus out of, click on their name and choose to have them join your party, or you can join theirs.
This is also how you do it for cross-play, with the only difference being that you’ll need to pick your victims/friends from the Activision playlist but whether they be on PC, PS4, or Xbox then as long as you follow the previous steps you’ll soon be hunting them down like the dogs they are.
Or you could always team up, I suppose, but where’s the fun in that?
