Anthem | What and Where are Hidden Places Guide

Hidden places are one of the many locations you can explore during Anthem’s Freeplay. In this guide, we will explain what they are and where they are.

What are the Hidden Places?

Once you have unlocked the Freeplay, you can explore Bastion at your leisure. Here you can do many activities such as collecting crafting materials, defeating enemies or participating in world events. What is more interesting, however, are the hidden places available only in Freeplay mode. The hidden places are marked on the map by an icon with an arc.

They are almost always covered places where it is necessary to find an entrance or a door. Usually once entered, an entirely new area is loaded. Your allies and other random players can follow you so you can explore them together. Inside you will find enemies and eventually you have to defeat a boss. There is always an ending in the hidden places so be sure to continue until you find the end and consequently your rewards. At the end of a Hidden Place, there is always another arched icon, this marks an electric terminal that will transport you out of the Hidden Places where you are.
