Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath continues the journey started in the story mode of Mortal Kombat 11. The DLC is the first expansion of this type in the Mortal Kombat series, which normally just uses its post-release content to add new characters to the mix. Fans who just want the ability to bring new fighters into the ring are also in for a treat, though, as Mortal Kombat 11 also introduces three new kombatants.

The story of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath picks up right after the conclusion of the main game. The events of the expansion center around returning villain Shang Tsung and his companions Nightwolf and Fujin after Lui Kang defeats the original game’s final boss. That sets the stage for the continuation of the story and for a few new characters to step forward.

Here is a look at all of the new characters coming to Mortal Kombat 11.

Fujin

Fujin has been around as part of Mortal Kombat’s background story for a long time now, but with his expanded role in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, he’ll also be joining the fight. Fujin is the brother of long-time favorite character Raiden, and is the god of wind. In Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, he’ll use his mystical wind powers to push and pull opponents, backed up by the more mundane sword and crossbow he keeps at his side.

Sheeva

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will also add returning character Sheeva. Sheeva is the queen of the Shokan, a species that also includes Mortal Kombat characters Kintaro and the much-better-known Goro from the original game. Befitting her unique four-armed physique, Sheeva’s fighting style revolves around grappling and throwing enemies.

Robocop

The third character coming to Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath isn’t brought in from the deep well of Mortal Kombat lore, but is probably the most recognizable of the three new additions nonetheless. In Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, players can fight as Robocop, who features the likeness and voice of Peter Weller, the original Robocop actor. Robocop comes equipped with an arsenal of weapons including a flamethrower, riot shield, shoulder-mounted cannon, and his iconic pistol from the Robocop film series.

Unlike previous Kombat Packs, which added staggered DLC characters, all three new fighters in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will be added right when the expansion is released on May 26. The three new characters coming along with Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath look like they’ll bring a nice variety of fighting styles to suit different players — and who doesn’t want to play as Robocop whenever they can? Along with the paid DLC, a free update will add new stage and Friendship moves.
