All of Ash’s Pikachu codes for Pokémon Sword and Shield
Earn a hat-wearing Pikachu for your Sword and Shield adventure.

Pokémon Sword and Shield fans have the chance to acquire some rare and exclusive Pikachu in the future. The Pokémon Company has announced that they will be releasing various Pikachu wearing hats that Ash Ketchum, the main protagonist from the Pokémon anime series, wears as he travels throughout the regions of the Pokémon world. The reveal happened at the same time that the Pokémon Company shared the official release date for the Sword and Shield expansion pass, The Crown Tundra, which will be releasing on October 22.
There will be eight, and the first one has already arrived for the original Pikachu from Ash’s Kanto journey. Here’s the full list of all the Ash Ketchum Pikachu in Pokémon Sword and Shield, and their respective codes:
- Kanto Pikachu: P1KACHUGET
- Hoenn Pikachu: P1KAADVANCE
- Pikachu (Partner Cap): 1CH00SEY0U
- Sinnoh Pikachu: V0LTTACKLEP1KA
- Unova Pikachu: P1KABESTW1SH

To redeem these codes for the Pikachu, make sure to visit the Mystery Gift page option in Sword and Shield, select Get a Mystery Gift, and then enter the Pikachu’s code. You must redeem these Pikachu codes before November 30.
We don’t know when we expect the next hat-wearing Pikachu code, but we’ll be updating this page when it does release. The code reveals will be happening across various forms of media that the Pokémon Company owns, so you may have to keep your eyes on several of their media pages to make sure you don’t miss them.
