There are multiple Pokémon that you can encounter and add to your collection while playing Pokémon Go. Unfortunately, they’re not available simultaneously, with many of them rotating in and out of the game. Sometimes they appear in the wild, in raids, or they might rotate in briefly during a special event, spawning more frequently for a short time. The same goes for the legendary Pokémon in the game, which are even more challenging to track down. This guide covers all legendary Pokémon you can find while playing Pokémon Go.

All legendary Pokémon

The legendary Pokémon rotate in and out of these five-star raids, or sometimes they appear in Special Research events as rewards. Because they rotate so often, it can be a little complicated to keep them all in place.

If you’re trying to track each legendary Pokémon down and catch them at least once, the five-star raids are the best way to do this. These raids require you to bring your best Pokémon to try and defeat them in a heated battle. We recommend bringing friends to these five-star raids to try and take them down, giving you the best chance to catch them at the end of the encounter.
