The new and the old are coming to KOF XV.

The King of Fighters XV, one of 2022’s biggest fighting games, is just around the corner, and it has one of the largest rosters in the genre at launch. As its release looms, let’s go over all of the confirmed characters in the game so far, as well as its upcoming DLC content. Hopefully, SNK will “shatter all expectations” with its roster.

At the time of writing, six additional DLC characters have been revealed in Team Garou and Team Southtown. They’re scheduled to release sometime in March 2021 and May 2022 respectively. Six more characters have yet been revealed, but they’ll be out by the end of the year during the summer and autumn seasons.

Some new characters like Delores and the stylish Isla will hopefully bring new life to the series. In addition, old school fighters like Chris and Shermie are back from the dead after being canonically disposed of until now.

When more DLC characters are announced, we’ll update the list here. The game’s official release on February 17, 2022, on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC systems.
