In the run-up to the launch of Xbox Series X/S consoles, Microsoft had been picking up lots of different game studios, adding plenty of weight to their first-party offerings, and helping to make Game Pass one of the best subscription services in gaming. Recently Microsoft dropped a bombshell, announcing that they had picked up Zenimax, owners of studios like Bethesda, Id Software, and Arcane studios.

Below, you will find a full list of studios owned by Microsoft, and the games that they make. It is clear that Microsoft plans to put together a powerful and talented collection of studios and developers as they move into the next generation of hardware, and the next era of gaming.
