Looking for a set of Talmberg Armor to sneak out of a certain castle? Check out our guide on how to acquire the necessary pieces and fool the guards.
During the rather lengthy prologue or tutorial that is the first few hours of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Henry will be stuck inside of a nice friendly castle, but have a strong desire to leave in order to bury his parents. His gracious hosts, however, aren’t so keen on him leaving and Henry must get creative. When speaking to one of the guards near the gate, Henry will get the idea of disguising himself in a set of Talmberg Armor. In order to get your hands on it, you’ll need a few items.
Acquire a Lockpick
Near the same gate, is a vendor. Speak to him and you’ll see that he has a Lockpick for sale for 18 Groschen. Of course, you’re probably pretty broken and don’t really want to sell the clothes off your back. Instead, let’s go steal some things and sell them to the vendor. Head up into one of the guard towers. Be careful, it’s a restricted area and while you won’t get into too much trouble, if you’re seen, the guards will make you leave. Inside the tower are four barrels of arrows. One is on the main floor, and three on the upper floor. Steal all the arrows and head back to the vendor.
Fortunately for Henry, these arrows aren’t marked as stolen and can be sold. Unfortunately, the vendor only has a little bit of cash on hand, so you’ll have to do a combination sale of arrows and purchase the Lockpick at the same time. Simply add the Lockpick to the basket and then add arrows until you come out even.
Steal the Talmberg Armor
With Lockpick in hand, return to the same guard tower that you stole the arrows from. On the main floor is a chest with a Very Easy lock on it. Pick that open very carefully – we suggest saving before you attempt this – and open the chest. Inside you will find a full set of Talmberg Armor. Equip it and return to the guard. He’s not really fooled, but it’s good enough for him to let you leave.
That’s it! You’re free and can continue your long path back to your parents’ village in order to bury their dead bodies. Once there, you may need help finding a Spade. Luckly we’ve got your covered! For more guides and news, visit our Kingdom Come: Deliverance game page.
