Grafton Monster Locations – Fallout 76 Beta
The Fallout 76 beta is well underway now, with multiple sessions taking place for players on every platform. Yesterday was the longest session yet – an eight-hour long stint for players on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The Grafton Monster is one of the game’s mythical enemies, inspired by real-world West Virginia folklore, along with other enemies in the game like the Flatwoods Monster and Mothman. While playing in the Fallout 76 beta last night, we stumbled upon one of the Grafton Monster locations, and after some research, it seems like the hulking beast can spawn in some places. This map below details all of the Grafton Monster spawn locations we know of so far.
Fallout 76 Grafton Monster Locations Map
There may be more Grafton Monster locations, but these are all of the ones we’ve found so far. It’s important to note that there seem to be two versions of the Grafton Monster in the game: the normal Grafton Monster that is level 10 and isn’t too difficult to take out, and the Enraged Grafton Monster; a larger level 30 beast that puts up one hell of a fight.
Starting in the south-west, the first location is Charleston. According to this Reddit post, /u/TechnoWaffles51 found it around the Charleston train yard, and judging by how easy he said it was to kill, it sounds like the level 10 version.
Over to the east, /u/Bright_Wishbone found the Grafton Monster near White Spring Resort. Again, it seems like the level 10 version of the legendary monster going by their description.
At the very top of the map, we found the Grafton Monster at Hemlock Holes Golf Club. It was meandering across the open plains where the golf course used to be. This was the level 10 version also – we took it out by luring it over to the Hemlock Holes building, then using the decking for cover so it couldn’t quite reach us. Check out this screenshot of our dead Grafton Monster.
Finally, south of Hemlock Holes is the town of Grafton, along with Grafton Station. It’s confirmed that the Enraged Grafton Monster can spawn here, the incredibly tough level 30 variant of the beast. Be very careful if you’re exploring this area because you could quickly meet a very untimely demise.
These are all of the Grafton Monster spawn locations we’ve found so far, though there could well be more. Once we spend more time with the beta and find more of West Virginia’s mythical creatures, we’ll have more of these guides up. Happy hunting!
